sanda are yet in india.....ok, on a more serious note, is she going places???ok, she is on kuynki playing ganga, she is ok there, she did so many cameos because sanda are mad behind money..ss acts only for money....so she takes up roles like that of vidhi which is so regressive and doesnt really offer a platform for an actress to give the audience a sneek trailor into her acting prowess........she did NB and even rajeshwari badola did NB but i hardly read any interviews of hers...why are the media overhyping sanda...as it is zoom overhyped them ....now each and every scribe is behind only ss....where is her better half..its him who has to be interviewed..by the way, what's he douin these days...they surely havelt left for canada and neither is apu directing any movie...what's up FG???😛😛😛) A flop debut in a forgettable film did nothing to hamper her chances of success because as Ganga of Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, she has become a household name.(darn, anyone who watches K soaps know the actors..everyone knows reva, Rk etc...) Also the current track is very Shilpa centric at the moment. (hehehehehehehhehehehe.......well, after waiting for like 656886656556 days, finally the track became ss centric...after such a longgg time no😆...i dont watch kuynki but i do know the story vaguely..first it was the gujral murder case, and ss wasnt involved too much there, then the savita death track, then the court case..and after almost a year, ss gets her slice of the cake....and soon, it will again digress from the ss track...)Everybody (really?????dont say everybody..i dont care a damn as to what ganga does....and even i , my mom, my aunt and uncle are included in the "everybody"..but you know what mr.scribe, we dont care...so dont say ewerybody😡😛) is clued in on what Ganga is up to these days, but read on to get to know her real life counterpart Shilpa.
Q Would you consider Kyunki…. to be the turning point of your career? Is that the reason that you are still a part of it?
Yes, I am what I am today because of Kyunki…. (yayyyyyyyy, sweet ss...unlike somebody who wanted the very show which made her a star to end, at least ss is not tired, and not tortured..good girl)Though I am not the lead I am still known as Ganga.(awwwww, that's humility.....but aunty(she's 6 years older than me ok, so i can call her aunty and apu uncle😛), haanji aunty, why cant you be humble when it comes to your spouse too...see, then no one would have complaints) Even though I have played the main lead in both Lavanya and Kkusum I am better known as Ganga. Apart from that, the work timings suit me just fine—it's the only show where we work from nine am to six pm.(9 -6???i thought it was 9-9?????..good for you if its 9-6....) This gives me enough time for my hubby and home.(that's sweet....its nice to hear that she is quite successful(albeit she's not going places, she's reknown and a familiar face in tellywood) and has time for her family..i hate women who neglect their family for their careers😡😡😡) I have never been the ambitious kind, so I am happy being a part of a popular show, which suits my schedule too, you see.( she's upfront...yeah, credit where its due)Q How do you choose your roles?
Money is important, I want to earn enough not to be a burden on my husband.(repetition numer556555565656 ..and you stupid scribe..i wanna skin you alive....do you really think you are interviewing rani mukherjee who "CHOSES" her roles..hell, dude, you are quizzing shilpa...a so- so mediocre tv star who does every role offered to her for her moolah) And yes, I want to be financially stable before I start a family. But, at the same time I like to have time for my social life, so I don't hanker after work which will ask for more time. Yes, I do lose out on some good work in the bargain, but I have no regrets. Right now, I am happy with just Kyunki….Q Was the opportunity to work with hubby Apurva the incentive behind you taking up Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahin?
You bet it was. I simply wanted to be a part of Jassi… because it was the show in which my shonu (LMAOOOOOOOO, MY COUSIN'S DOGGIE NAME IS SHONU😆..he has 3 dogs, sonic, shonu and pepper...and guess what, shonu is a doberman😆....lmaoooooooo, juxtaposition of the character and idiosyncrasy of doggie shonu and "chuhiya" shonu is uproarious😆...one barks and is so magnificently commanding and the other is 😛)(Apurva) is a part of. Well, they did offer me several parts(LIAR LIAR LIAR..DONT LIE THRU YOUR TEETH...ok, lets analyse...the roles in jjkn were.....angel,...now they surely wouldnt have approached you for that....rhea...ok, pooja rawal did a decent job and looked sweet AND did not shriek...and if you declined any role, it would have been all over the tabloids..i read none,,..ok, back to the analysis....we had juhi, jyothi(the naini girls whom neha shahtri taught..you surely wouldnt have been approached for those roles)...then meera(mm's bhabhi)..now i guess that woman who played meera was the first choice..then kimmi...urvashi is typecasted as a vamp..so by default the role went to her and finally shuili..you might have been offered that role..so its one role you see, not roles )whenever they needed a new character in the show(shut up..dont lie..) but none of them were interesting.(oh i see😛, so you chose your roles..them honey, does that mean that you chose vidhi over shuili..the character of shuili was a lengthier one and had more scope...so your tastes are so bad😕😕...you finally accepted the role of vidhi which was a cameo whereas shuili, kimmi, meera etc etc has more screentime......then that goes to prove that your choice of roles is deplorable...no wonder you are yet a middling tv star) I simply loved the part of former lover. Unfortunately, I didn't have many scenes with him.Q Did working on Nach Baliye bring you closer to Apurva?
To be honest, it tired us more than anything. We were both working on daily soaps and then rehearsing for this show. Four days of the week were dedicated for night rehearsals after our shoots got over. Then be up early morning to report for our shootings. This started telling on our health. Of course it hurt when we were eliminated but I guess it was at the right time—any longer and I would have passed out due to fatigue. I cried for a week after we lost but Apurva would tease me and say "baby at least now you will get your full nights sleep."(awwwww i know how terrible it is when one cannot sleep...been there, done that for my board exams..now i sleep for almost 11 hours a day...one must never compromise with sleep.....)Q In real life, you come across as a very gregarious person(on a lighter note, gregarious is usually used when people speak about animals..they do use it for humans too but its more animalesque.......just kidding)so why have you opted to do only rona-dhona roles?
Where are the frothy roles? (you wanna know..here we gooooooooo, the role of aanya is a frothy one(and i just loveeeeeee the show jub love huaa as its such an offbeat story and SS(sudeep/sudheer something...who plays raghu) is better than FH)..no rona dhona there, the role of rusty is challenging, the role of jassi, Dr.simran, etc were challenging...anu's is a good role but kanchi ruinedddddd it as she cant emote for nuts, ...there are challenging and demading roles you see..only that you are never offered those😛) a I did Lavanya who was a frothy character, but to date it's the serious and traditional Ganga who is remembered. Somehow people don't accept such characters.(dont assume ...people have accepted ananya's character and the role of lavanya wasnt any more obnoxious than that of anu...people have accepted allllll those K soaps where the characters get all pi**** and sleep around....every bit of crap, if packaged well is accepted..sad, but true...and i'm being euphemistic here....thank me for not opening my trap about the K idiocies😛) Now take Kaise Yeh Pyaar Hai for instance, the lead character is a rock star but she wears salwar kameezes. (lmaoooooooooo, that's the weirdest show.....i was telling moni, IQ was dressed like a ghost and he ruinedddddddddddd ya ali which by the way is my current favourite and aashiqui me teri(i am not a shahid fan but shahid danced so spendidly in that video)...and the fans are going crazyyyyyy over that peice of trash that was called a performance😕😕😕...that show is reallyyyyyyyyyyy dumb)Q How's marriage treating you?(if i ever get to meet this scribe, i will frighten all the living daylights out of him...)
Touchwood, life's blissful. My hubby is the best.(lmaooooooooooooooooooooooooooo, ok, you knwo what, your hubby is sad😕..he's got a very effiminate voice, chinese+german looks, and in compariosn to him, you look better.....i really dont know what makes ss think that aa's the most goodlooking..perhaps that's what's knows as love😕😳) It's been almost two years since we got married. One has to be very lucky to get a husband like Apurva. Of course, we do have our little tiffs but it helps that we are both in the same profession — the understanding is good. I like to pack his ice-box, which contains his lunch and protein shakes. And yes, I do love making the hot rotis for him when I am home.Q And when are you planning on a baby?
In another 3-4 years. I am still 23,(so what, i can yet call you n aunty,,,,,i'm only 18 you know😛) there's time for that.
