Jassi is not an original concept

With no offence to Jassi Jaissi Koi Nahin fans....

I found out that jassi jassi koi nahin is not an original concept as it was copied form a Spanish soap in Colombia called "Yo soy Betty, la fea" (1999)

Plot Outline: Betty (JASSI) is an ugly assistant, but very efficient, and is not liked by the beautiful ones, and those who hate working.

It is the story of Beatriz Pinzn (JASMIT WALIA), an economist graduated finances, it is shining... but it has a defect: SHE IS VERY UGLY. Betty (JASSI) starts to work as secretary in the Ecomoda (GULMOHAR), one of the biggest companies of fashion of the country..

This is the biggest success of its professional career as economist, Betty (JASSI) had an excellent formation, but never it obtained good jobs, because it had that to place a photo in the fixed ones of registration. But she falls in love with Armando Mendoza(ARMAAN SURI)…………………………..

I hate to break it to you buddy, we on this forum all know that Jassi is/was/has always been an adaptation of the famous Spanish soap opera but we still enjoy it! 😆 😆 😆
