Purabs, I like Purab character... a lot... But I still think that Samir Soni as an actor needs to work on his acting a LOT.... To be bollywood's official heartthrobe, he has to go a long long long way..... We are talking about Shahrukh khan, Amir khan category here..... Samir needs to improve a lot to be there..... Just looks are not good enough... 😊

I agree mani....lets hope that his future films will provide him the oppertunity to carve his niche in bollywood as he did on the small screen

I personally think he shouldn't do too much in films b/c he won't make it. It's very hard in this day and age to get people to like you and accept you as a movie star, and competing with the likes of SRK and Aamir Khan will be difficult. Samir has found his niche with the television audiences and I think he will stay on top if he sticks with t.v. What's the point of being in films with small roles? Look at Gauri, Hiten, Rakshanda---they are all magnificent television actors on top of their game, but they are smart enough to know that if they head into the movie industry they will be lost in the crowd.
