we are talking about male side of it(which has a very different perspective on every issue) , not the female side. i can assure you i have yet to meet a guy who is ready to spend life with a women who can upstage him in everything he values. i am sure purab too suffers with this flaw,only jassi could never upstage him(he is too resourceful and successful for that)

well he did marry her....even tried working with it....just did not succeed......most extramarital affairs have thier roots in ego,financial or parental problems (in that order). look at all the celebrity pairs with successful marraiges ...you will always find females try pushing themselves to background (or going more family oriented or discounting thier own successes)and push ing thier husbands to foreground,rarely are they on same padestel or ahead of thier husbands(when they are...you hear about thier breakup within an year)
