Rajesh 'Maddy' Khera returns to Jassi...

Rajesh Khera aka Maddy will return to Sony show Jassi Jaissi Koi Nahin. Khera, who played an effeminate designer, received a call from producers Tony and Deeya Singh and has already started shooting.

Khera went out of the show more than a year ago.

"The story had become a bit soapy, and I had nothing much to contribute, I guess," he said, explaining his absence. Khera is also doing Manish Goswami's forthcoming Sixer and the Manav Gohil-Shweta Kawaatra show coming up on Zee.

Devil may care

Is he disappointed he lost the Onida ad (Khera was the Onida Devil) to Ashish Chowdhry this year? "I did the Onida commercial for a year and had my moment under the sun. It has given me quite a bit. Perhaps now, they needed a cuter face, a naughtier smile," he replies.

Khera's re-entry in Jassi Jaissi Koi Nahin is slated to happen in the next two days.

"Shooting cut-to-cut chalti hai. I can't tell you the exact day — whether tomorrow or day after," he explains.
