You are very right Anju. I have some friends and cousins who have been close to me since we were in school and college and though their lives have moved on and they are married with kids, they still speak to me about their first love very fondly. And I'm not talking about just women. Even some men never forget their first love 😳

love is complex i guess to some its infatuation, or crush or really true feelin for other person

I want to analyze the question, before even I can answer it perfectly. I want to ask you few questions if you don't mind: Does this person know that you love him madly? Do you have any idea what kind of feelings he has for you? Lets assume he has seen your pictures too and he considers you as his BEST FRIEND and he has a soft coft corner for you too, how is he in his family life? Is he happy where he is and how he is?

Its a special type of "Emotion" that you are experiencing. If you can answer my questions, I have a perfect answer for you.

i think first love will be remembered but as they say time is the biggest healer and hence a person can fall in love again .As for A-J, the best part is their undying love for each other .Inspite of so many evil forces that tried to separate them and inspite of so many differences (status,character,attitude etc etc) their love for each other hasnt changed.thats what makes this love story special...just like jassi said "hamara pyar amar hai"
its like they are always pining for each other..they may have had differences and fights and even claim to hate yet the way they yearn for each other and pine for each other and have that feeling of deep love ...thats what is beautiful to watch.

Well, i can't say i'm an authority on this subject but i really think that no one can forget their first love. In fact, no one can ever forget someone whom they have ever loved. But yes, it is possible to fall in love again. Sometimes it is best that we do so, and move on in life.

I feel that first love is the purest of all, because it is without expectations. You don't care whether or not that person will be "yours", because you are discovering love for the first time and it is just enough for you to be near that person and silently emit love for him or her. If it blosoms into a relationship, wonderful! If it doesn't , well, at least it will have taught you what love is all about. In fact it makes you more mature and prepared to fall deeply in love later in life.

I also think that it may be possible to be in love with more than one person at one time. What do you guys think?

so far as JandA's love is concerned, Jassi at first loved Armaan without any expectations. But her heart did break when he got engaged to Mallika. When Armu initially made his false confession of love to her, that is what raised her hopes. After that she could not get away from him no matter how hard she tried. Even when she was engaged to purab, her heart was all Armaan's. But she WAS preapared to marry Purab, and i'm sure if they had got married, she would have started loving him. But even then, she would always have a soft corner for Armaan. It was he who taught her what love was. And it was her pure, unselfish love that bound Armaan to her for ever.

As regards the other men who loved Jassi--Raj and Raghav--JandA's relationship had become too emotionally (and physically) involved by that time to make either of them waver in their commitment. Armaan married Mallika out of anger and hurt, and Jassi for the same reason pretended to be Raghav's wife, in front of Armaan.
If they are still together after all this turmoil, all i can say is that they are made and meant for each other. I know it is only a serial; but i ve learnt a lot about love from this serial. After all the nonsense that they have shown, i respect TnD for this at least that they have kept JandA together at all costs.
