The dress was good but it was certainly not meant to be Jassi's wedding dress. Its an important occassion in life and this was important for JandA fans, so at least they owed us a good Indian wedding for having dreamed for them, breathing alongwith them for two years. I find it hard to digest that they actually want us to believe that Indian bridal wear is not available in Malayasia. They could have come to US and I would have got them married happily. I would have even got extras to work free and happily 😃 for them. And ji I would have given them a puri band waaje gaaje nal shaadi. O ji what was this? 😒 And they have already planned that the two are going their separate ways.

I did not mean that she literally looked like a tree. This being the Holiday Season in the West, we see brightly decorated trees with gold silver sparky things all over. Given that her dress was green and sparky, that is what came to mind. She did not look like a desi doolhan at all and resembled more a christmas tree.

And yes, her dress was not elegant it was gaudy. At least it looked that way on tv. It may have been because she was married in the middle of the day and running around the town dressed in it all day and dresses like that are more appropriate after dark.
