I hate to be the one to break the news of the sad and untimely demise of our beloved J…we lost her when she went to that malhoos Mauritius with malhoos company…! 🤢

But, me confused!
The dictionary says:

Looser =
1.) Not restrained or confined or attached (But he is! Legally to the psycho and emotionally to the retard)

2.) Not in the possession or control of any player (Absolutely wrong! The player J has him completely under her control)

3.) Not tense or taut (Of course he is tensed and often does get tensed and looks taut too, from the tension the women of his life are subjecting him to. Forgot the stress ball?)

4.) Not carefully arranged in a package (Eh? He's a complete package!)

5.) Having escaped, especially from confinement (Not yet, baby! The psycho is still at large)

So, how come my Armu is a 'looser', THEDON?

BTW, Welcome to the forum THEDON! If your id is meant to intimidate us, me afraid you have failed miserably!

If your intention was to unruffle us through your post or create unrest or instigate a fight, again you have failed!

But me thanks you, for this post of yours has given us an opportunity to word our love and belief in Apu and his acting abilities!

Lady, you sure have a nerve trying to unnerve us by this post of yours!

Like Jojo says You have touched a higly sensitive nerve of the JJKN section and the A brigade and honey you won't be disappointed!

You gave your opinion. I respect it. It's sad you have not been able to recognize our Ko-hi-noor! No probs. We will help you recognize true talent!

Now, what's that you say about our Indian Tom Cruise?

What did the Armaan did special that he won.

Please note that you say 'ARMAAN' not 'Apu'!!! What better compliment than this that you are identifying the actor by the name of his character? And you ask what he did to deserve the award?

Firstly, he had the guts to accept this challenging role.

Another actor, whom I would not like to name, rejected this role outright saying it was too negative!

An applause for Apu for recognizing the potential of the character and for his courage to experiment with something daring and different!

(Kudos to Mona too, for the same reason!)

Playing Armaan Suri was a huge responsibility for Apu.

Especially because sadly, Apu was a Bollywood reject.

This was a golden ball of opportunity that he had to grab and make the most of it. Armaan Suri could either break or make him. And Apu made it work for him like never before!

You see, ever since the show started, Armaan Suri is one character who has forced everyone to focus on him, whatever be the reason. In fact he stole the limelight more than the heroine herself. Like I said, either for praise or criticism.

The character he played was so complex, so diverse, and so unpredictable that it was no easy job to portray him.

An actor could have easily bungled it because Armaan Suri is no cakewalk. He is grey. Neither Black nor White and is supposed to display an array of emotions and moods.

My sis had summed up Armaan's avatars brilliantly:

1. The insensitive dashing lady-killer Armaan Suri

2. The business-man Armaan Suri

3. Armaan Suri: Obbssessive lover of GM and for whose sake, he can go to any extent

4. Armaan Suri; The protector of Jassi

5. Petulant and irascible Armaan Suri, whose temper can be perhaps handled by Jassi alone

6. The Armaan Suri, who's troubled by bouts of conscience and is reeking with guilt

7. The Armaan Suri who is fighting himself not to acknowledge his love for the ugly Jassi, though he knows he has lost it

8. The jealous passionate Armaan Suri who cannot tolerate the love of his life; his Jassi with none else

9. The completely destroyed Armaan Suri, who had to accept his mistakes in front of his arch-enemy; Aaryan

10. The groveling Armaan Suri; begging his love to give him one chance

11. The Devdas Armaan Suri

12. Armaan Suri in self-destruction mode

This was till the make-over. There have been plenty of additions to the avatar wardrobe of Armaan Suri and you just cannot deny that Apu has done complete justice to each and every avatar of Armu and portrayed his moods and emotions with unsurpassed brilliance and conviction!

Apu has breathed life in to Armaan Suri to such an extent that every A lover here believes him to be real. People hated him, still do, because Apu successfully portrayed Armu as an insensitive jerk who shamelessly exploited his assistant, cheated on his fiance and was so obsessed about GM that he could go to any lengths for its sake.

We love him because Gawd! He is magic! The guy playing him is magic!

If you have been following the show from the beginning and you still hold this opinion about Apu, what can I say expect well! You sure have a different taste! Or maybe we are a bunch of abnormals!

But, if you haven't and are holding this opinions after watching a handful of episodes, lady, I recommend the following scenes:

The first few episodes of JJKN; Especially the scene where A nearly dismisses J, for not submitting the business plan, the scenes where he is flirting with the girls and J saves him from Mallika, his guilt scenes, jealossy scenes (All time best), romantic scenes, the Jessica tadap scenes, J pataaofying seducing scenes, the Sindoor nearly mysterious ahem ahem scenes and Please do do watch the pre-wedding fiasco episodes. Esp the Creepy c***** scene! (Did I say that?) and my friend was telling me that the scene where A realizes the truth about Creepy and breaks down is a master piece…you could try that and of course the recent scenes too…that express the duality, the multiplicity in the character…Brilliant!

And if you still say you going to stick to your former opinion, me says "God bless you!!

This award was long overdue. There are hardly a few good actors. But I wonder if even they could have portrayed such a diverse role.

Apu can cry and make your heart bleed, he can laugh and tickle you too, he can romance and make your hair stand on end, his acting can actually move you…it touches you, it talks to you, and it makes you believe the 'reel' to be 'real'. That's acting for you!

If he has so many takers, so many defenders, so many lovers, all kudos to his acting abilities and of course to his sweet, unspoilt, down to earth nature!

And if I start on the unbelievable chemistry between Apu and Mona and how Apu exploits this advantage, the whole of IF writing space will not be enough!

This is one actor who deserves this award more than anybody! Apu Rocks! He is simply and easily the best! He was a rough diamond. Today, he is as sparling and as worthy and priceless as ever!

Hail Apu indeed! Apu, my Diamond;

you rock, you dazzle, you sizzle…Baby, you are simply awesome!

And BTW, guys, Blue, Jojo...Tood good! Well said! 👏

And me don't wants to talk about Mona or Jassi here!
