Gaurav Gera's(Nandan Varma) Interview...

He plays the most popular nerd on the small screen. Apart from Jassi Jaissi Koi Nahin, Gaurav Gera has many movies in his kitty too. That entails a lot of traveling, and that's one aspect of the profession Gaurav loves! This year, he's traveled the most, he says. So here's Telly Chakkar taking a sneak peek through the actors' list of holidays and pictures taken on his cell phone when abroad.

Riya V. Anandwala chats up with Gaurav.

Where have you last been and with whom?
I had been to Prague recently with the cast and crew of my new film.

Till date, which trip holds the best recall value?
It has to be Goa. I had been there last year for New Years', and I had a blast. I was partying there with my friends.

What was the most attractive feature of this trip?
I had gone to Goa for five days, and in those five days, I could be myself. I really enjoyed there, firstly because I was with my friends and secondly, I was not working.

Did you bring anything really special from there?
I bought a beautiful crystal glass when I was in Prague. I have a 3 D picture of mine on it and it looks damm cool. You got to see it to believe me. It cost me 2,500 rupees. I haven't seen it before and I haven't noticed anyone having it. I am very fond of it.

Any other attributes of your holiday destinations?

Yes, of course, when I was in Prague I visited a sex shop. And all I can say is that it was different. Such shops are not to be seen here, so it was an eye-opener.

Another trip which brings very good memories was when I was shooting for another movie called Neal n Nikki in Canada.

What about the food?
As I am a vegetarian, it was a little difficult for me to adjust in Prague. But it was a 10 day shoot, and food didn't really matter. I enjoyed myself to the core, that's what matters.

Any plans for another holiday?
Oh yes! Definitely. I will be pushing off for Malaysia with the unit of Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahin and later in December, Paris is due.

Any place to would like to visit?
Yes. I am a beach person; I would love to go to Hawaii or Ibiza. And even in India, I would love to visit Kerela.

Which is your favourite holiday spot?
Goa! Nothing but Goa. I am in love with that place, and even this year I will be there for New Years' eve.
