my ever favourite character will be atharva esp. those starting few months.
it was an eye opener kind of thing as far as INDIAN tv is concerned the males are the torchbearers for females cuz they have to but not because they want to and thats what todays generation of women need a person who supports her not knight in shining armour anymore.
iam fortunate to have bumped into this serial and eventually could appreciate the sheer feminism that rang out in almost every episode the fight, the revenge, the betrayal, the love everthing had a curtain of feminist thoughts which endeared to me.
ATHARVA is someone you want on your side girls today need men like these who support you not fight your battles for you, he is flawed, realistic, quick to judge but equally passionate enough to kill your demons not just subdue it by fighting your battles.
i have seen endless heroes even pined for a few before but till when will you appreciate the same old stuff but this appealed to me at a another level with a dose of reality n drama galore like making atharva not someone who saves damsel in distress but someone who pats on your back and says " go ahead show 'em what you got i have got your back"
the assault on guddi and how he dealt with it was good no great that great that i get goosebumps even now when i rewatch it. the dialogues the expressions are etched in me. "buzdil ho app" symbolic to nowadays how women need to up their game no longer dependent not a broken angel but a fierce one who means business and the world needs to listen.
now this serial is mere shadow of what it was eventhough iam not watching since long time, but i couldnt make myself not say goodbye since its ending so here it is goodbye atharva phir milenge chalte chalte. thankyou vikram singh cahauhan for portraying it to perfection may you find more success.
guys do add your farewell notes for our atharva.
