Popular television producer, Yash Patnaik has defended Star Plus' decision to end Jana Na Dil Se Door', which will exit the channel on 30th June.

Fans have been left disappointed with the decision and have taken to social media to express their anger. However, Patnaik in an interview with Raj Baddhan on Sabras Radio's Drivetime' said that the show had run its course and said it was a collective decision with the channel's executives to wrap up the show.

In the interview, he spoke about the rumours that the show had been given a six-month extension, to which he replied, "There was no official confirmation that the show was given a six-month extension. We completed one-year on the 8th of May. We got a two-month extension for the months of May and June. Then, all the concerned parties that's the broadcaster, writers, creatives decided that we got to bring the story to a logical end instead of going on.

He also said there were no plans to take Jana Na Dil Se Door' online as a web-series as that decision lies with the broadcaster and not production house.

Btw Vitharv romance is on the way coz the producers love Vitharv as much as the show fans

My sympathies are with Puri Bhaisaab.. inko Sahi mein Bali ka Bakraa banaa rakha hain.😆Pehle unke through andar ki baatein leak karvate hain aur jab palti khaani Hoti hai to unke hi SAR par andaa maar ke unko jootha purvaar KAR dete hain. I believe you Yash Bhaiya Totally...😆

Well I agree with you he has been wrong before, especially when he describes the characters of the show. But all the same my sympathies with him after all every one can't be Harishchandra ki aulaad like Yash bhaiyya...😆

They said they was an extension of 6 months even vikram confirmed it there no need of him lying now whatever of the reason the extension got cancelled is doesn't change the fact that there was an extension.

You are so pathetic monu .Calling others liars while you are biggest liar and lying in this post too Your lies are so exposed but still you keep lying to insult yourself How much shameless you are ? Shashank quitted the show himself and you are still barking lies he is ousted Every source confirmed he has quitted himself you are still lying think you can change the facts with your lies You dont have even this much common sense if Shashank would be ousted makers would not have asked him to shoot till the death track of Ravish and also some scenes which will be later used as flashbacks or dream sequence Some scenes are still pending to come

and about extension your Vikram confirmed it himself Go read telly buzz article He confirmed the extension Yash patnaik is lying now to cover up his insult When Shashank quitted Yash was talking about how they will take the future story but the fact is he soon got the notification after he was giving statements on Shashank quitting the show , SP ousted the show now he is lying to cover up his insult

hannah if he'd been ousted a s per this prsn then why PH begged him 2 stay till May post leap wen he was ready 2 quit the show.

arr these ppl r burning that shanky quit the show & channel gave ultimatum 2 the PH 2 wrap up the show & din't find their fav worthy of bringing TRPs. i m sure after this show their fa won't get ant show as +ve lead & if gets show"ll b a flop.hes only fit 4 doing -ve roles or supporting roles.he cna only beg & thatswhy he got nomin in SP awards but SP din't even promote him or his jodi.i wonder why??if hes nominated in ITA on his own then why the channel ignored him or his jodi in their own award function??😕
