JNDSD~My take~ Saturday 1.4.17~ walking on egg shells
It's about being over cautious in a sensitive situation. Like treading on thin ice, going around a person, who is likely to be bruised by one's action, all to avoid a volatile situation. In today's episode the scene is set, a lot of changes have taken place. Suman exposed. Sujata taken off the hook courtesy of Ravish.Atharv Vividha, Vividha Ravish, Madhav's future? will there be further adaptations to accommodate the remainder of the existing families? Hard issues to thrash but ones that need sorting. As one cannot live in a woolly scenario where boundaries are undefined especially so in matters of the heart. For Guddi too remaining at Vashist house is like walking on thin ice. Her involvement in the dirty game under a false name and persona is hard to ignore by her more so than others.
Where a sibling unveils her sister"face" out of the hopeless gloom of nonentity, the heart triumphs over yet another victory. Atharv wants to know the reason why Guddi became embroiled in Suman's insane plan?Thus follows another trial where Vividha provides defense for Guddi's case history. It was Vividha with her skills of keen detections and alertness of all four senses, and sharp discerning memories of her sister, that aids her in uncovering Gargi s real identity of being her sister Guddi. Methodically,she puts the pieces of gargi's persona , in thought word deed and action!before she concludes this is her beloved sister Guddi!.Shewta kashyap! Vividha explains, the eyes only see what they are shown, the ears hear what is spoken but it's the heart that senses the bank of memories the mind churns out! Guddi accepts all the examples that Vividha quotes as typically her, and the whole family rejoices! Vividha defends Guddi that a falling out with her is what made Guddi fall prey to Suman's criminality. But her mother's teaching got in Suman's way when Guddi twice shirked harming Atharv and ended up saving his life. This to Vividha was the greatest confirmation that Gargi was Guddi as her sister loved Atharv to bits they were good friends, harming him was unthinkable for her!
The waylaid Guddi too is given the chance to narrate her incredible tale.Suman manipulated her and give her a new face and a whole new way of life where her job would be role play and consistently drug Atharv , to ensure his memory loss persists as long as the moment till Suman achieves her ulterior motive.Vividha testimony proves her point ,but Guddi too delivers her confession..which Atharva was the first to prompt.. yes she did it for avarice and to get back at her sister Vividha!. Her shame urges her to leave, even after the family forgives her. But its only Atharv's plea as one true friend to another that persuades Guddi to stay.She is part of the fold..back where she belongs .pardoned by her loved ones. The happy reunion does remind Ravish of what an awful woman his mother was. How she cruelly spilt a happy family , put Guddi through excruciating pain to use the girl as a means to an unholy sinful end.. tears well up in his eyes and he wonders perhaps its good she's gone otherwise she would have carried on with her dance of death ... I suspect he senses some faint healing within himself..
Two preoccupied men travel from opposite directions along the long corridor of life. At a point the two stop midway. Ravish peers into Atharv's big bold eyes. Brothers not strangers, met a little late in life. Their eyes both reflect a strange uncertainity about what next? Both are careful not to step on each other's toes. They both face opposite direction their eyes converse with each other silently. Will they bypass each other and go in opposing directions? None of them have a definitive answer. Till the two decisive factors in their life suddenly barge in! Vividha! Madhav! Two reasons that make both Atharv and Ravish's hearts beat. Young Madhav has his own needs! quite a day he has had and it's at night time. He too in a way responds to certain changes he hears about, but fails to grasp the implications. Both Atharv and Ravish almost fly to assist Vividha to settle the boy for the night. Atharv and Ravish both are cautious not to be pushy in the role of being Madhav's father. It's like walking on egg shells for its about who takes ownership of Vividha and Madhav. It's a tough decision for both brothers,there is fear of rubbing loved ones the wrong way. However both fathers real and foster are swift to announce room changes to vouch for normalcy Madhav especially is accustomed. For, changing rooms is changing course of direction, making adaptations to life without upsetting each other. Both fathers will try to gauge their role in both Vividha and Madhav's life. To me young Madhav will play a decisive role in who stays with Vividha and who is his father? Vividha too is also sensitive to the situation at hand and gives a way out, she'll sleep in the guest room with Madhav . This might be a way of giving off a neutral signal to both Atharv and Ravish..
If Vividha has a history of true love with Atharv whom she only just has regained. She and her son Madhav have a four year old history of bonding with Ravish as well. Who knows Ravish too shares and misses that bonding. She is right Ravish too cannot change habits. Old habits die hard . Nothing can keep him away from an excuse of delivering a bottle of water but really coming to give Madhav a goodnight kiss. Vividha has known him long enough and suggests he sleep with Madhav. She recalls how Sujata had suggested Ravish's wound of losing his mother is raw and he will need care and support.. But Ravish declines and believes Madhav needs his mother more than he needs him. On his way out he turns to Vividha and comments on an odd silence between them caused by change of circumstances .Ravish is a realist who does not live under false hopes. He strives for conflict resolutions and as such, tells Vividha in no uncertain terms that its best he leaves, to make way for Atharv and her to unite. He empowers her its only a matter of time when Atharv's mind will free from the effect of heavy doses of drugs.. And since hers and Atharv's love is from the depths of their hearts.. His heart will conjure up memories of his past.. Vividha is in awe of this person called Ravish and spontaneously she calls after him, how can he be such a nice person. Ravish gulps a lump in his throat ..
A moving scene where two friends strengthen their bond of friendship by making allowances for each other. They support and give respect to each other. Vividha empowers Ravish with words of heartfelt gratitude and devotion. By standing by her in her darkest hour, marrying her being a good father to her impressionable son. She remains indebted most of all to Ravish for having the grace and immense strength to recede backwards ever since Atharv returned. Ravish talks about realizing about one's own mettle in the thick of combat Ravish in turn reminds Vividha of all the hardships she faced, separated from Atharv still she held her self strong in her love. Hated him for what he did to her but still she loved atharv. He lauds Atharv for his silent frustration of being knocked about in the throes of a lost oblivion.. yet he struggled and fought till he found her name in his memory.. in this house Madhav too came across Atharv. Ravish encourages Vividha that it's the signs of the time that she and Atharv are meant to be. He sees his role as the strong link which will unite Vividha and Atharv in a firm bond never to be broken again.. Ravish exits from Vividha's room.. depart not from me my friend.. their hearts sing. Two friends who part but remain friends forever in the true sense of the word..
For me the episode talks about friends, Atharv Guddi and later on its Ravish and Vividha. Will be walking on egg shells tomorrow, as news that Madhav s DNA Blood sample, will not match Atharv's .. hamlet53 2,4.17
