Hey I am back with another OS on ViTharv!❤️
This is a completely different scenario in which Vividha talks about her motherhood, her life without Atharv and her life with her son and Sujata chachi. In this scenario, she is not married to Ravish, she is independent single mother, managing her work and her cute little family.
ViTharv OS- Incomplete!
As I made sure that he had his milk before he sleeps, I had to do everything that he demanded. It was only during dinner and night time when he demanded my full attention, my full undivided love only for him. He resembled his father not only in persona but personality too. Atharv would crave for my undivided attention and love too. His son was an exact replica of him. He made sure that I spend all my time after returning from work, feed him dinner and read him a story before he falls asleep, securely holding onto my hand tightly.
As I made sure he had slept, I would often walk out of bed and start my remaining work. Being a single mother and managing business had its demerits, but I would all manage this hectic schedule. For my return gift was beautiful, my son's smile and his happiness. As I started working on the accounts, my mind wandered to that day when I had told my 4 year old, that his father left us. I wanted to pour out all my hatred for the man I loved mind, body and soul. But my heart couldn't still fathom the fact that he ditched us, his mother along with me and our son. I never ever wanted my son to go through the pain and misunderstanding. That day, just like his father he adopted my name in school. From being Madhav Atharv, he became Madhav Vividha. He proudly introduced me to his friends. He had accepted that his father left, but he was grateful to god that he had his mother and his ever loving grandmother.
A part of me, my heart still beats for Atharv and seeing Madhav every day, makes me thank Atharv, for gifting me this bundle of joy. My heart was not ready to accept that he left us, my Atharv left me. I knew there has to be some reason, but I was incapable of finding about him. I still hoped, that one day he would come back to me, as he always did what he promised, I will come back Vividha. My brain thinks that he betrayed not only me, our son but also his mother. It really makes my heart ache, seeing how Atharv left us, he did exactly what his father did years ago. He hated the fact that because of this very man, he had to live a life of hardships, and now this is exactly what he did. He ran away, like a coward.
I opened my diary, that one diary where I mentioned about each single activity that Madhav did, his pictures from childhood, his cute antics as well as his birth milestones. I remember clicking his first pictures in the hospital, his first step, his first gesture, his first word, everything was recorded in this diary. I had also imprinted his fingerprints, his blabbering and his endless tactics to not have milk. Sigh! A dairy business owner's son hating milk, was the irony. His first picture in his school uniform was the latest addition to his never ending album. this diary was for Atharv, when he would come back he should not miss any moment of our son's life. Today his first milk tooth had fallen, he was so scared that he had directly come into my office. I was discussing new prospects for my company for a tie up with an international firm, and my cute little son comes in and hugs me in front of everyone. The staff present as well as my clients could all do was smile at this cute mother son duo.
After finishing my remaining account work and finishing this diary, I checked on Sujata chachi. She was fast asleep. She had been that big rock of support for me. the lady who underwent such trauma, from being separated from her son in this age, stood tall and helped me in my life. She had tried to get me married again, but when I had flatly refused, she understood. She finally relented, when I told her that I am capable enough to raise my son and take care of her too, if she would be staying with me. Sujata chachi had gone from being a mere neighbour to would be mother in law to being my mother and a loving, caring grandmother to my son. I could without any fear, leave my son in the house with his caretaker, knowing that Sujata chachi was home. His family was with him while I worked hard daily. It was Atharv's dream to run this dairy business and make Sujata chachi proud. It was his very dream to provide employment rather than seek employment. All I am doing now is honouring his dream.
Covering Sujata chachi with a duvet, and pecking her forehead I retreated to my room to see my son sprawled on the bed, turning and twisting like the hands of the clock. I gently picked him up and embraced him, caressed his face and I slept next to him. He snuggled closer to me, and holding me tight. I slept remembering Atharv's vows. He had vowed to return and shall he return. Till then I had to shoulder his as well as my responsibilities. I prayed for him to come back, I would forgive him, we can start afresh. Everything is awaiting you Atharv, me, your mother and your son. Everything is settled, but this Sujata family would be complete only when you will come back. You have only and will always make me complete!
The End!
I hope I have lived upto the expectations of ViTharv fans!
Positive criticism welcome!
