Kailash

Dont give any girl a father like Kailash. He is scary. A control freak and an emotional blackmailer.

Dont give a husband like Kailash to any woman. He is such a shameless bully. He wants a doormat as wife.

Even his mother must be wondering as to how did she give birth to such a monster.

His son seems to take his father's example. His other daughter. whats her equation with her father? Kailash is obsessed with his eldest daughter and he has no time to spare and scare his other kids.

Kailash is a complete monster. He only talks to his mother properly. He abuses his wife and physically hurts and that's a sign of a weak man,not a strong one. He wants to excercise complete control over Vividha, and that's another sign of a weak man. Physical assertion on any being a sign of weakness. Kailash is a horrible person.

Kailash is a very good father tillyou follow his words . He has been biased towrds Vivi and given her freedom because he believes her entry in his life changed his fortune. He has been very strict towrds his other two kids .

I was actually going to make a reverse post. I don't like Kailash as a person or as a husband. However, I find his behavior acceptable as a father.

- He is a loving father and does not abuse his kids.

- He has given them adequate freedom within bounds.

- He thinks he knows the best for them -- which parent doesn't

- He wants to chose their life partner -- this may be unbelievable to many on the forum from large cities and other countries but it is a fact of life of a large majority in India.

- He emotionally blackmails them - almost all parents do because that is most effective way to get what you want from your kids. Kids do the same.

- Finally - the biggest point -- He hates Atharv - Why would a father/family accept a guy with

-- no family name (it is very important in most part of India)

-- no money, deep in debt

-- maligns his daughter's name in public by claiming he will marry her by hook or crook

-- OTT confident attitude that keeps rubbing him the wrong way

His methods to keep Atharv away from Vividha are despicable, but he did start "gently" by threatening and scaring the mother-son duo. Things escalated only after the threats did not work and the mother-duo kept showing up at his door step to force the relationship down his throat.

A father could care less how sexy the guy was, if his current prospects are nil.

I know most people on the forum will disagree with me but this my POV

agree with you except that he does abuse his kids . but been gentle towards Vivi. Other than that I agree with all u said.

The day Vividha knows what her father really is.
He cant keep her from his truth forever. One day the truth will be out.
Both father and daughter will have a reality check then.

Sujata is much more responsible for Atharv's condition. She should know these things. When vividha's mother was explaining nicely, Sujata refused to heed her words.

Vividha. Her father gave her freedom but not wisdom.

Right..he is a monster..that monster who tortures his wife physically and mentally and controls his kids life.
he is a complete monster...he thinks that he can buy anything with his money..he is a such a fool..because he thinks that he can separate vividha from atharav but he don't know that their soul already connected with each other.
Now he can't keep atharv away from vividha..because he is in already is in love with atharv
