CHAPTER 84 : Written by Shabs
"Roshniii. ...Roshniii. ..."
Sidharth chest felt tight, as fear welled up in his heart.
He felt the earth beneath him being washed away..seeing his life in danger .
A chill travelled down his spine as he run towards the pool.
"Roshniii. ..." he screamed jumping into the water, grabbing her and pulling her up...
"I've got you Baby. ...I've got you" he cried
Coming out of the water, Sidharth dropped down to his kness,, laying her gently on the ground...and began to rub her hands frantically.
"Wake up Baby. ...open your eyes. ..." he screamed caressing her cheek.
Rahul and Soniya rushed and sat besides him...calling out her name. ..
Sidharth looked up at them, as if seeking comfort that everything would be alright. Trying to find some sort of solace...but their faces were blank. Shocked as he was.
He turned his gaze back to Roshni
"Roshni...get up Baby. ..get up nah" but she did not respond.
She lay lifeless
Sidharth knelt over to listen to her breathing. ...There was dead silence. He couldn't hear nothing. ..
With a shaky hand, he held her hand...and searched for a pulse, Nothing.
His vision began to blurr from his tears, and he grasped for breath. ..
"Roshniii. ..." her name barely came out
He frantically began to give her ressucation. .
He placed his palms on her chest, and pushed down hard, every few seconds counting. ...
One. ..Two. ..three...". He leaned in and touched her lips, breathing two quick breaths of oxygen into her mouth ..
Sidharth leaned in again, to check for breathing.
Nothing.
Again he placed his palms a on her chest, repeating his actions
"One. ...Two. ...three. ...come on Roshni .." he sobbed as he leaned in again... to give her more air...
There was no response. ...
He pushed even harder against her chest
"One Two three...Roshni open your eyes damn it. .."
Sidharth looked up at Rahul. .."Roshni"
His voice was hysterical. ...A combination of pleading and pain. He knew he had to compose himself..
He continued his frantic attempts to revive her. .
"One Two three..." he pressed harder...
Rahul picked up his phone in a panic
"Dr. ..Dr mehra it's an emergency..."
Sidharth sobbing increased as Roshni lay lifeless.
"Roshniii. ..Roshniii. ..I love you Roshni. Please don't leave me. ...don't do this to me Baby...come back.to me... .".
Inhaling another mouth full of air, he bend back down, to give her oxygen. .. praying, pleading that she would respond...
Tears fell unrestricted down his face. He cried out loud. He was loosing her. ...He was loosing her...
"Dear God" Sidharth pleaded in a quiet prayer
"Give her back to me...take everything God...but not my Roshni.."
His heart pounded in his chest. ..as he continued to give her ressucation. ..
Tears stung his eyes, as he fought desperately to save her life...he was fighting to save his life..."
Rahul kneaded down besides him with with tears in his eyes, as he held his shoulders
"Bro...Bro. ... It's too late. She's gone. .." he weeped
"No!!!!. How dare you say that Rahul. How dare you" he said with anger in his voice
"Meri Roshni mujhe kabhi chod ke nahin ja sakhti. Samjhe tum...meri sansein chal rahi hai nah...mere dil dhadhak raha hai nah. .. .kyonke meri Roshni hai. ..
woh kahin nahin gaye...
Mera pyar maut ko harriyega. .do you get that Rahul" he said sobbing
He turned his gaze back to Roshni
"Roshni. ...Roshni utto... Please Baby. .just get up."
He caressed her face gently. There was silence.
"I said Get up...Do you hear me get up It's an order" he screamed as picked her up and held her in her arms
He swallowed hard...There was no response...
Sidharth wasn't going to give up.
He lay her back down, pressing his palms against her chest, as hard as he could...
"One Two three..."
He inhaled another mouthful of oxygen and breathed it into her...
Suddenly Roshni jerked, and water came squirting out of her lungs. ...She coughed hard..
Sidharth stopped still. ...For a moment...and slowly his fear turned to joy, as he wiped away his tears...
He looked down at the most beautiful sight he'd ever seen, his Roshni eyes.
Those beautiful brown eyes looking innocently back at him. She was alive and was going to be okay. .
"Sidharth. ..." she could barely talk
Sidharth brushed her wet hair away from her face
""Sshhh. ...It's okay Baby. I'm here. I'm here.you're going to be okay..." he said lifting her into his arms. ..and holding her tight.
"Oh God...Roshni..." his voice teary
He held her weak body in his arms..as he kissed her hysterically all over her face. ..
"You're gonna he okay" tears continued to fall
"Oh thank you God. ...Thank you..." he repeated over and over as he kissed her face
"Sidharth. ..." her voice was very weak
"Hmmm" he replied lovingly
"What are you doing? Sab dekhre hai. .stop kissing me"
Her words made him burst out in laughter ..
"Abhi bhi tumhe is situation, yeh line yaad hai. ...Oh god Roshni...meri pagal sharmilee biwi... .I love you so much. ...I love you so much"
Roshni blushed, as she looked up at Rahul and Soniya who were also crying.
"Welcome back behna" weeped, Rahul as he placed his hand on her head
Sidharth scooped Roahni into his arms and carried her back inside to Khurana Mansion.
SIDNI BEDROOM
The Doctor examined her carefully. ...and looked up at Sidharth, who was sitting besides Roshni, holding her hand.
Sidharth held his breath, waited to hear his words...
"Don't worry, she'll be fine...All thanks to you Mr Khurana. .Your timely ressucation. ..saved her life
A few minutes longer in the water could have been very fatal ..." he paused looking back at Roshni
"Your a very lucky Girl. You managed to cheat death twice. ..." he chuckled
"Hahaha. .." Roshni let out a weak giggle
"They say third time lucky...maybe the Angel of death will be lucky the third time. .." she joked
Sidharth placed his finger over her lips in anger
"What sort of stupid joke is that Roshni. It's not funny. Don't you ever say that again. ."
Roshni lifted her hand and held her ears "Shorrry"
The Doctor got up from the bed, and ordered that she take it easy for the rest of the night as he left.
The family stood around the bed, looking worriedly down at her
"Meri beti ko nazar lag gaye. ..first that accident, then that thief and now this. ...mujhe jaald se jaald is ki nazar utharni paraygi" cried Simmi
Sidharth clenched his wrists hard and gritted his teeth.
He turned to look at Rahul...who understood his thoughts straight away...
Sidharth knew this was no accident.
Dev was responsible for putting his Roshni life in danger once again...and he wasn't going to spare him...
It was a while before the family bid good night and retired to the respective rooms.
Sidharth and Roshni were finally alone.
"Sidharth"
"Say that again..."
"Huh. ...say what?" Asked Roshni confused
"My name say it again. I love hearing my name from your lips"
Roshni mouth turned up into a smile
"Sidharthhh. ...Sidharthhh. ...Sidharthhh. ...happy, "
"Bohut" he said as he brushed his nose lovingly against hers
He kissed her forehead and looked back into her eyes. His eyes had welled up with tears
Roshni cupped his face "What happened Jaan"
"I thought...I thought I had lost you. ...I thought..."
Roshni placed a finger on his lips
"How can you loose me Sidharth. I know you will never let anything happen to me. Your my Saviour. Your my hero. ..aur waise bhi, itni jaaldi jaan nahin chor ne wali" she teased, pinching his nose...
Sidharth brushed away a few strand of hairs from her face.
"Pakka. ..waada..nahin chodo ge" he asked
"Pakka waada. .." she said pinching the skin on her throat.
Sidharth looked into her eyes
"I cant live without you Baby...
Your love is running through my veins Roshni. Every beat of my heart and every breath I take has your name on it. ..."
Tears he was trying hard to hold back, made their escape.
Roshni eyes also welled up, as she wiped his tears away.
"Sidharth"
"Roshni if anything ever happens to you, I'll die too, and it'll be all your fault"
"Huh...My fault...how" she pouted
""I'm hopelessly, crazily, madly in love with you.

He leaned in closer, as his breath blew across her face
"It's your fault because you make me feel alive. You make me feel happy...its your fault that your smile drives me crazy and your tears drive me mad. ..."
Kissing her gently on her cheek
"It's your fault that your love weakens me...It shatters through my defences.
It's all your fault that you have this power over me. .."
He said kissing her on the other cheek
"It's all your fault...Jo meri yeh halaat hai..."
Roshni pouted her lips
"Ummm Shoorrry. ..." she said cutely, looking up into his eyes
Sidharth grinned shaking his head
"Ufff...Why do you have to be so damn cute; adorable; beautiful; hot and sexy all at the same time. .."
"Should I be sorry for that too" she chuckled.
Her words brightened up his face and lightened his mood...
Both stared into each others eyes, lost in their own little world. Feeling blessed to be in each others arms
A few minutes passed and Roshni smile disappeared, remembering the drowning episode.
Her body shuddered at the thought.
"What happened my love. ...you feeling okay...or should I give you another kiss of life. .." he teased
"Sidharth" she said hitting him gently on his chest
Sidharth wrapped his hands protectively around her, as she rested her head against his shoulder...In that moment each others presence was all they needed
No words were spoken...For a while again.
"Roshni. .."
"Hmm" she replied snuggling more into his chest
"What happened. ..I mean..how. .."
Roshni grip tightened, as Sidharth caressed her arms
"Sidharth...I thought it was you..."
"Who? " questioned Sidharth
"He had the same mask, and I followed him. ...but when he held me in his arms. ..
"He touched you" grinding his teeth
"Hmmm. ...but his touch, it frightened me, and I knew it wasn't you. ..I pushed him away. ..." tears began to fall as she recalled that scene.
"He stood still watching me; but didn't utter a word..
Before I could react he pushed me into the pool...I screamed for help but he just walked away. He left me to die...Sidharth. ..He left me to die..."
"Sssh. ...Sssh. ..Baby. ...I'll find him. ..I promise I'll make him pay. .."
Sidharth pressed a few kisses against her forehead as she held him. ...
She knew his arms were the most safest place in the world
"Thank you Sidharth for being there, for saving my life. .."
Sidharth lifted her chin, and cupped her face in his palms
"Don't ever thank me for being there for you...Besides i was being selfish,... it was my life that I saved...your my life Roshni. Tum meri zindagi Ho. .."

Roshni smiled, resting her head back on his chest
It was a while until Roshni fell asleep. ..
Sidharth gently lay her head down on the pillow and got up from the bed.
He wanted to rip Devs head from his body.
He walked out on the balcony, as not to disturb Roshni, and pulled out his mobile. ..
The phone connected
"Why Mr Khurana. What do I owe this pleasure. .."
"You Bas***d. .." his breathing heavy
"Hmm... temper temper. ...now what did I do
"You know very well. ...I warned you...how dare you hurt my Roshni again ..
"Roshni. What happened to her. .."
Sidharth "You'll find out soon enough. You broke the rule of the Stay Order. ...Dev Saxena. ...and now you will have to pay. ..."
"Oh that...yes I received that pice of garbage telling me to stay away from Roshni. But you know I don't like threats. How many times do I have to remind you. ."
"Well I don't care. ...you have disobeyed the Order set by the court of law, and I can't wait to go see you rot in jail you frea***ing Bas***rd. ."
"Hmmm. .." replied Dev
"Tumhe kya laga tum meri Roshni ko chont paunch aoge aur mein chup chap bradassht karunga. ..

Dev began to yawn

Sidharth felt defeated again. ...He knew he had covered his face
"Stop playing a loosing battle Mr Khurana. ...because I will never let you win"
Suddenly the line went dead. ..
Sidharth stood helpless...but he wasn't going to give up. Never.
