hi
welcome to the forum!
Nice insight to his character! After going through so much, and promising roshni that he will return to clear his name and make her TRUST on him win... i really doubt he is going to keep the facade of being Raghu just coz a dying man asked him. He maybe idealistic and do things out of his way most of the times, but mostly for his sasural and their relationships. Agreeing to a stranger's request, losing his own identity and taking care of mai - when he knows how broken roshni is, his sasumom is in jail, his parents left - i just dont see him doing that! 😛

Thank you.Firstly, I am sorry for raising the idea (with this thread) in this forum that there was a possibility of Sid forever impersonating Raghu. My intention was to imply that Sid at that moment of Raghu's death (especially if the latter gave his life in order to save Sid) might have promised a dying man and being an idealist (at least that's how I always perceive his character) might just have been intending to keep his words. Of course sooner or later circumstances would have led Sid back to his wife's loving arms (as is happening nowadays).😊Knowing Sid, he would have found a way to re-enter Roshni's life in order to solve her's problems and clear his sasumom's name, even if Roshni had not sought his help.About deceiving Raghu's mother, I don't know. It can be seen in two ways. If Raghu was Sid's lookalike, Sid could be deceiving her, though he has a good intention behind doing it. However, while writing my original post, I imagined/took it that Raghu's mother knew about her own son's death and accepted Sid as her son (gave Sid Raghu's place in her heart) after knowing about Sid's circumstances. Any of the two possibilities can fit the situation (as it stands right now), though I personally think it's the latter possibility, because of the way Raghu's mother acted towards Roshni and Kritika.
