NiVi - only thing going for the show

Hey guys

It's been long time no post from my side. But after thinking a lot about this show...I decided to make a post on what I feel.

I genuinely feel that NiVi are the only thing going for the show at present. Actually, they've been the only thing going for the show in a LONG time. Nia and Ravi's chemistry as Roshni and Sid is the life line of Jamai Raja. They bring charm and sheer brilliance to the table.

But leads alone cannot determine the success of a show. Yes, chemistry between leads is extremely important. But story telling also plays a huge part. I used to watch a show on Colors that had a strong lead pair but the story telling was weak, hence the serial was eventually pulled off, despite having potential.

I think the CVs have been dragging JR for a very long time now. They aren't working on story telling...but what saves them are Ravi and Nia's performances. They should also thank the loyal fanbase of JR.

Ok, overall trps in general have been stable. But the fact that the CVs aren't pulling their socks up is the reason why the trps haven''t seen vast improvement.

I hope people here don't take my criticism as insult. Because I have been here from the very first episode. All I would really like to see is for CVs to do justice to JR, NiVi's hard work and also the loyalty of fans like us.

Well said dear😊 Ya, story have been dragging for long without any significant progress😕 But this week a new vamp has entered and I think the story is going to move forward. They have taken U turn on DD and made her positive overnight, DD was a headache and was an extremely bad villian.. Now that has change and I believe from this week the story may pick up with Gafoor - Shabnam planning and plotting.. Strong villians are a must or else people may lose interest... The writers are good with villians, so I'm expecting some good drama with this track, hope they don't disappoint

And there is no doubt NiVi is the life line, but story needs drama or else the show would be left behind in TRP race which would lead to its pulling off by the channel😕

agree with u dear😊 they should make use of NiVi's talent in a gud way rather than moving the episodes simply and lamely😊 Hope NiVi's hardwork for the show never goes in vain😊

Absolutely true, most of us watch only for the leads. And their amazing chemistry. We clinged onto the show even when the disgusting track of Misha went on just with the hope that it would get better.

I totally agree with you..NiVi/SidNi are the only reason we are still sticking to the show inspite of boring episodes...ever since ayesha entered it became plain boring...but this new female villain entry looks interesting..hope story picks up..😛

Yes!!! agree with u...they need to work on a better storyline...because the actors are doing a fab job minus the awful storyline n new characters not needed 😕😡

NiVi are the main reason I am still watching this crap! The story needs to pick up.
