Chapter 3
Recap:Siddharth asks Roshni to pretend and be his girlfriend for 10 odd days till his parents head back. Roshni is apprehensive but agrees as she loved Siddharth during her school days. Roshni bonds well with his parents and they both spend some times together. They have gola competition and also drinking competition but somehow both give into their ardent desires and end up kissing. Siddharth also confesses he loves Roshni. Now continued...
"Ahh my head is paining. Shit ,how much did I drink?" she asked clutching her head trying to stop the pounding.
"I guess you drank a bit too much." he came in smiling with a glass of lemonade in his hand and handed it to her.
She smiled at him but her smile left as soon as she noticed what she had been wearing. She looked at him in shock.
He was puzzled at her weird looks and her next move nearly made him loose it.
"How'ww.. Could...youuu??" she asked crying bitterly. She felt used seeing him sitting in front of her and she in his shirt.
"Listen to me okk Roshni ,I.." he started holding her shoulders but couldn't complete as the next moment he felt a slap on his face.
"DON'T YOU DARE TOUCH ME!" she shouted not able to handle herself. She couldn't gather herself back together.
"Fine ,I won't touch you but listen to me." he said trying to explain to her in every way possible ,he knew he deserved the slap.
"We did not do anything alright?" he cleared the air and she batted her eyelashes innocently trying to find the truth in his eyes.
"Except.." he started not wanting to lie to her anymore. Her ears hopped up on their own hearing him say so.
"We did kiss because.." he started but another stinging slap came up on his face. He held onto his cheeks ,this wasn't how he expected it to unfold.
"LEAVE NOW!" she said and asked him to leave her house where he had brought her after so much of drama.
FLASHBACK
"Come on Roshni ,time to go home okay?" he asked picking her up in his arms and she felt magical.
"Sid put me down ,you cockroach!" she shouted in the influence of alcohol. He smiled at her and swayed here and there on the empty road.
"I don't wanna come with you okay?" she replied and removed herself from his grip and went dancing away.
"Then come with us baby!" some guys came and surrounded her. She was scared as hell ,she hid behind him.
"Just back-off.. We just want the girl why are you coming in between?" one of the guy asked and Sid lost his mind.
"Stay away from her or else I will kill you." Siddharth warned and as if they got scared by his eyes they started leaving.
"Aww baby stop crying ,see they left." he wiped her tears gently and she hugged him tight but the next second their was blood on her hands.
She moved back to see what happened and saw Siddharth was hit by a rod at his back.
"Siddharth." she shouted but then siddharth was boiling with anger. He hit all the goons in no time and they were left running for their lives.
"Let's go." he said trying to pick her back up but she was almost back in her senses. She pushed him away not wanting to strain him.
She took him to her house and laid him down. She brought the first-aid box and said ,"Remove."
He was shocked ,she was asking him to remove her shirt! She came closer and said,"What huh ,I can control myself!"
She started removing his shirt and he was shivering in desire and passion for her. She slowly started applying the cream and he squirmed as her hands moved on his back.
"Wow you have got abs." she said moving her fingers on his body in a way that made him close his eyes as he couldn't control anymore.
"Hey you have got a tattoo saying R ,do you love someone?" she asked almost on the verge of crying.
He had enough ,his self-control was broken. He pulled her beneath him and their faces were inches close ,no air could pass.
"Yes I love you and I am going crazy for you right now."he said looking at her eyes that became wide suddenly.
"Me crazy you? WOW!" she said clapping her hands. He laughed at the child in her but he wasn't able to control.
He kissed her on his shirt ,which she had been wearing. She was delighted as he touched her ,she loved him and she knew it.
Then he pulled his shirt a bit down but she was shy and stopped him from doing so..he understood the emotions she was experiencing!
He stopped from doing anything further ,something she would regret and he would too. He wanted her to know that he loved her dearly.
PRESENT
"Sid ,where's Roshni?" asked Raj as he saw he was standing alone facing the window. Upon getting no response he went closer and peeped in.
What he saw made him shocked ,siddharth was crying! He had never ever seen him cry even when he was a child.
"What has happened?" he asked and pulled Sid in a hug. Sid wailed on his dad's shoulder unable to stop the emotions and pain he was feeling.
"Dad she left me.." said Sid and Raj consoled him saying,"Don't worry girlfriends are like this. She will come back!"
Suddenly Sid straightened up and left Raj , Simran entered at the same time and was surprised to see Sid teary.
"I want to tell both of u something about me and Roshni." he said trying to get a grip on himself.
How easy was it to lie but how difficult to confess your lies. He couldn't even utter a word so Simran came forward and patted him.
"We know you and Roshni aren't a couple. You both were pretending but beta why did u lie?" Simran asked stroking his head gently.
"Mom this is true we are not together but I have always loved her. Me the Cassanova of college ,the cool dude has loved Roshni since she first helped me."
This came as a shock to Raj and Simran ,their instincts had guided them in realizing Sid was pretending but he really loved her ,they had no idea.
"I loved her and so I couldn't agree to marry anyone else. The day at airport I had decided I would hug any random girl and ask her to pretend!"
Sid continued even as Raj and Simran exchanged questioned glances. Sid laughed lightly remembering the day!
"But look at God's ways ,I hugged her and she didn't recognize me. I was hurt but didn't show it ,I asked her to pretend and she took it in a wrong way!"
"Then after we started to fake a relationship you guys bonded so well with her and I was ecstatic! I couldn't ask for more."
A smile spread on his face as he talked and the smile grew wider as be continued.
"Then you know ,we both went and spent time together! I had this hope that maybe ,maybe she loves me." he said and his tone became slow.
"I took her to the resting room of the bar and she kissed me. I wasn't able to control so even I kissed her back."
By now Simran and Raj were standing in shock ,not knowing what to say and how to react.
"Then I fought with goons and was injured. We were about to flow away in the moment but I couldn't cheat on her." he said closing his eyes in shame.
"She misunderstood me the next day and left slapping me. I lost my first love dad!" said Siddharth and completely broke down.
"Sid do u really love her?" asked Raj not wanting to break Roshni's heart again. Sid looked up at him in shock ,how couldn't his dad understand him.
"I love her dad but I guess this drama has made everyone doubt me ,that's why even my dad doesn't trust me any longer." he said and went to his room locking himself in.
Suddenly a phone rang in his pocket ,he was astonished coz this wasn't his phone. He saw the wallpaper and it was his pic.
"Oh my god this is Roshni's phone." Siddharth said and and decided to return it.
He went down and gave it to his dad ,"Please make sure she gets it back dad!" he said and was about to go back upstairs when a sweet voice stopped him.
"I don't know what this feeling is but I guess it's what they call love." she said and he turned around to see her in a pool of tears in front of him.
"Please don't cry Roshni." he came forward to cup her face and stop her from crying but stopped inches before ,knowing she hated him now.
Raj and Simran had left by now leaving both of them to sort out their differences and get back together.
"So you won't even touch me now?" she asked a hurt tone in her voice. He shook his head vigorously indicating a NO.
"Fine then I won't pretend to be your real girlfriend!" she said and he was taken aback. She smiled as a smile came up on his face.
"Sid khurrana how dare you not tell me you loved me?" she asked wanting an answer to this single question.
"Because I was scared ,you would reject a guy like me. Spoilt brat and party freak!" he said voicing out his fears.
"How can you be so dumb? Even I have loved u from that day ,the day I helped you in class." she said confessing and he was shocked.
"Who told it to you? You heard all that I said?" he asked suddenly feeling guilty of his deeds but then said ,"Why didn't you tell me you love me?"
"Coz I was scared you won't want a girl like me. Studious and boring!" she said and looked at his expressions that said it all.
"I love you Roshni Patel ,as you are and I am sorry I caused you so much pain." he said finally holding her face.
"I love you too Siddharth Khurrana and I am sorry I slapped you." she said and he was laughing at her cute words.
"Aww baby I know I was wrong ,so it's okay!" he said but she slapped him again however lightly this time.
"You weren't wrong,I want to kiss your everyday of my life." she said holding his collar and pulling him close to her.
"So bold Rosh? Where did she come from?" Sid asked staring at her lips which were demanding him to take her .
"Because she just realized that you love your tarantula very much and she can be herself with you." she said butting him and he smiled.
"Oh my hungry tarantula is back to bitting. But it's me who is hungry for her today!" he said kissing her lightly on her forehead.
"Then let's become real girlfriend boyfriend what say?" she asked winding her arms around his neck.
"No , you both won't be together!" said Raj coming in looking angry and looked at Simran as she nodded.
"Sid and Roshni stood scared rooted to the spot holding hands when Raj and Simran started laughing and said,"Even we can pretend!"
"But you will marry now ,not be gf-bf!" said Simran and blessed them hugging Roshni. At this Roshni left Sid's hands and said something which shocked him.
"No Sid has to focus on career so no marriage for 5 years right?" she asked looking smugly at him.
He was shocked at first but then smirked and said ,"Mom-dad I am gonna punish your future-bahu for speaking this ,till the you start the marriage preparation."
Roshni ran upstairs and he smirked seeing she had fallen in his trap. He followed her as she went in his bathroom and tried to lock it so that he couldn't enter.
"I won't leave you today Future Mrs. Siddharth Khurrana." he said waiting for her to come outside.
As soon as she came out ,he held her by her waist and they both stared into each other's eyes loving this beautiful reality!
They leaned in to kiss each other sealing their fate and realizing at once that they were indeed meant to be!
