Fireflies

Sid and Roshni have been married for one year and are celebrating their anniversary!
Sid is gonna give a surprise to Roshni..
Wait for his surprise just like Roshni is!!

You would not believe your eyes
If ten million fireflies
Lit up the world as I fell asleep

She turned her face seeing him singing for her!!
He came closer to her and closed her eyes..
He took her to the balcony..

'Cause they fill the open air,
And leave teardrops everywhere
You'd think me rude, but I would just stand and... stare

She is smiling widely in anticipation of his surprise.
He removed his hands and she was wonderstruck!!
Seeing the fireflies dancing in front of her she had tears in her eyes..

I'd like to make myself believe
That planet Earth turns slowly
It's hard to say that I'd rather stay awake when I'm asleep
'Cause everything is never as it seems

She looked at him and he seemed to be playing with them happily!
He turned and frowned seeing the tears in her eyes.
He went closer and wiped them indicating not to shed them ever!

'Cause I get a thousand hugs
From ten thousand lightning bugs
As they try to teach me how to dance

He started dancing and she came and hugged him.
She placed a long kiss on his forehead while he closed his eyes!!
She laughed seeing him dance crazily..

A foxtrot above my head,
A sock hop beneath my bed,
A disco ball is just hanging by a thread (thread, thread)

He took her back inside and she was surprised seeing he had decorated all of it..
She admired the place while he bent on his knees in front of her!!

She gasped in surprise and tilted her head seeing how adorable he was!
He asked her for a dance and they slow-danced in the dimly-lit room..

He leaned towards her while she blushed at his actions and intentions..

He was about to claim her lips when she kept her palm on his mouth!!

Why do I tire of counting sheep?

He crossed his arms and pretended to be angry on her..
She went closer and bit him on his ear!

To ten million fireflies
I'm weird 'cause I hate good-byes
I got misty eyes as they said farewell (they said farewell)

She ran to the balcony laughing and saw the fiireflies going and tears glowed in her eyes!!
Sid came running behind and was enchanted by her beauty being lit up by the fireflies!

But I'll know where several are
If my dreams get real bizarre
'Cause I saved a few and I keep them in a jar(jar, jar, jar)

He saw her weeping and brought a jar and took it to her.
She got overwhelmed seeing he had got some for her!
She kissed his cheeks lovingly..

They together bid adieu to them and Sid made her lie down on the mattress he had set!
They gazed the stars above them..

In between they even stared at each other just living the magic around!
The fireflies glowed in the jar symbolising pure and true love..

So it was more of a tribute to my username and to my favourite show too!!

The concept of fireflies glowing when true love is around has been taken from the same show and it is not at all mine..
