I'm a couple of episodes behind in JR but caught up with an SBB segment where they showed Sam and Yash taking the Pheras. All I remember thinking was - What the...?
Seriously. So soon? I know this is a daily soap but come on. Sam has just been through a traumatic experience. It has changed her for the better. Shouldn't she be going through a journey of self rediscovery? Is marriage THAT important, at this stage at least. Is it?
I cannot fathom reasons behind them wanting to get married. Yash was there for Sam and the family...showed concern. So that constitutes as a reason to marry?
The only good thing out of this is that Yash will be out of SidNi picture. But in fairness, he was never in the running to begin with. That was all in DD's mind. I am however worried about how much footage Sam and Yash are going to get. I don't mean to offend their fans but both characters are boring and one dimensional. I'm dreading some lovey dovey track just to drag out SidNi's pending reunion.
On a different note, the best thing about the SBB segment was watching SidNi in the background. Although it were Yash and Sam in the centre, Sid and Roshni managed to hold my attention. And that pretty much sums up Jamai Raja.
