Sid (Ravi Dubey) tried for months to prove his love to Roshini (Nia Sharma) and win her back, but no matter what he did or said, she refused to trust him ever again. For the uninitiated, in the last few episodes of "Jamai Raja," we saw how Roshini moves to Bangkok to get away from Sid. She starts working as a journalist there with Yash Mehra (Mohit Malhotra), who falls for her eventually.

When Sid meets with an accident, Roshini comes running to his aid, which gives him hope in a future with his estranged wife. DD (Achint Kaur), on learning that Roshini is falling for Sid all over again, tries to change her mind by convincing her to marry Yash. Sid forces Roshini to leave her mother and come back to him. During the Holi festivities, under the influence of bhaang, Roshini reveals her true feelings for Sid and promises to come back to him. Unfortunately, Sid's stepsister Kritika (Isha Sharma) and her husband Rajveer (Vishal Karwal) don't want the couple to reunite. So, Kritika creates a fake MMS where Sid is seen confessing how he will sleep with Roshini and take his revenge for insulting him and his family.

On the morning after Holi, Yash tries to convince Roshini to come back to him and warns her about Sid's bad intentions. But she rebukes him for talking ill about Sid. Just then, Roshini gets Kritika's fake MMS and all hell breaks loose. She goes to meet Sid and questions him about the MMS, but instead of discussing it with him, she accuses him of raping her. Sid, who was just preparing to welcome Roshini back to the Khurana mansion, is heartbroken on learning what his wife really thinks of him. He loses his cool and tells her that for months he has been trying to win her trust back and prove his innocence, but enough is enough. He claims that if she doesn't trust him, then he would rather end it once and for all. He calls up his lawyer and asks him to prepare a legal notice for a divorce.

In the upcoming episode, Roshini and Sid have their first hearing in court, where the judge accepts their case, but orders them to live together for at least three months before she takes her final decision. DD asks Roshini to come back home, but she insists on staying with Sid one last time so she can get over him. The couple decides to live together, but will three months be enough for Sid and Roshini to finally forget their love for each other? Instead, will fate bring them closer in these three months? Or will Roshini realize that she was duped and try to make it up to Sid?
