Part 20
Penthouse: Hall
Dinner was done. The whole family was sitting in the hall having a light conversation. Everyone was trying their best to make DD and Simran comfortable with each other. Roshni was sitting in between both her mother's. Since childhood all she craved for was mother's love and now she was the luckiest person in the whole world to have two mothers. She was beyond happy and tired after the events of the day. Siddharth noticed her drowsiness.
"Aap dono maao ne aaj bohot pyaar barsa diya meri biwi pe abh thoda mujhe bhi barsane ka mauka de dijiye!"( Both of you have showered a lot of today on my wife, now it is my time) he teased.
"Siddhaaarth!!" hissed Roshni.
"That is not possible." said Simran flatly with a straight face.
"Mom?" questioned Siddharth.
"Well Roshni cannot live in my house.."
"What? Maa lekin..." said Roshni.
"Until we properly do griha pravesh and abh jab sab khush hai iss rishtey se toh kyu na ek proper remarriage ho jaye pure society ke saamne woh bhi dhoom dhaam se!!"(Now since everyone is happy with this relationship then why don't we have a proper remarriage in front of the entire society!)
"Waah Simmi ji,dil khush kar dita!!" said Raj.
"Haan what an idea Simran beta!!" exclaimed Nani.DD too nods in agreement.
Siddharth and Roshni look at each other, both were biting their lips and smiled faintly trying to digest what they heard.
"Mom ek lifetime ke liye I have become a bride too many times now!! Please not again!!" she begged DD.
"Mom!! Marriage again?? Arre ek hi ladki ke saath kitna baar shaadi karna parega mujhe?(How many times will I marry the same girl?)" he pouts.
"What did you say? Ek ladki!!" said Roshni furiously. She takes a cushion from the sofa and throws it at Siddharth.
"Arre Roshni..!! I did not mean that.. I meant.." he started running because Roshni kept on throwing things at him.
"Let me show you what you meant..you idiot.." she ran after him into the kitchen.
Everyone else laughed looking at their children.
"Shaadi hogayi lekin Bache ke Bache hi rahenge yeh dono!!" said DD. They start discussing about the arrangements of the wedding.
Penthouse: Kitchen
Siddharth runs into the kitchen and goes around the counter. Roshni enters and sees a jar of water kept on the counter. She picks it up instantly and aims at Siddharth.
"Roshni, please no!! Thand hai yaar.. Paani mat fekna!!" he said.
"Oh really!!" she played with jar.
"Roshni you are injured!! You shouldn't run.." he tried to divert her mind.
"I am perfectly alright!" she snapped and threw the water on him.
"Roshniii!!! Yeh kya kiya tumne!" he said like an annoying child.Roshni squealed in laughter.
The upper part of his body was drenched in water. His shirt became translucent and clinged into a perfect shape of his body. He finally double crossed the counter and got hold of her. He pinned her to the counter beside the fridge. She failed all her attempts to escape from his grasp.
"I don't need to marry you so many times, because you were mine the moment I set my eyes on you." he whispered huskily.
Roshni's cheeks reddened with his words. She stopped trying to escape which made Siddharth loosen his grip on her wrists. She raised her hands along his wet chest to his neck. He held her waist and pulled her towards him. His free hand was on the fridge's door to gain support.The first two buttons of his shirt were open, looking at his bare body, unable to control her urge, Roshni bent down and kissed his chest. Siddharth closed his eyes and pulled her more close to him. She trailed her kisses to his neck and in excitement unknowingly he opened the fridge and the door bashes on his body.
"Ouchhh!!" he screamed a little too loud. Roshni looked up and bursts into an uncontrollable laughter. Seeing her laugh, Siddharth too starts laughing. Others run into the kitchen after hearing Siddharth scream but they were surprised seeing their children laugh.
"What happen?" asked Simran.
"Woh mom.." started Roshni. Siddharth shakes his head asking her not to say anything but she ignores him.
"Siddharth opened the fridge unknowingly and got hurt himself" she escaped the sentence in between her laughter. Siddharth hits his face in embarrassment.
"But how could you be so stupid to open the door unknowingly?" asked DD.
"Yeh bada acha sawaal pucha sasumom ne!" he said playfully and winked at Roshni.
She pleads him with her eyes to keep shut.
"Why?? Abhi thodi Der pehle Maine bhi chup rehene ko kaha tha na!!" he raised his eyebrows.
"Siddharth please!!" she begged in whispers.
"Sasumom.. Aapki bholi si beti ne.." he started and looks at Roshni with evilish grin.
"Kuch nahi kiya mom!! I just.. I just threw water on him and in astonishment he did that." she completed his sentence while glaring at him. Siddharth escapes a soft chuckle.
"Acha, anyway beta.. It is late now.. We are leaving.." said DD.
"Oh ok sasumom, the cars will drop you home." he said.DD and Nani turns to leave,
"Roshni abh tumko invitation dena parega?? Chalo!" said DD.
"Huh? Main? But.." she looks at Siddharth.
"Sasumom, do you have short term memory loss? Yeh Roshni ka ghar hai.. Main uska pati hu.. She will live with me!" he said.
"Sid, Ddji is right! We have decided that first you both will get married properly with all our blessings and then we will welcome our bahu in our home, our mansion!" said Simran.
"But mom! We ARE already married!! Yeh alag rehna, this is not fair!!" he insisted stubbornly and looked at his Dad for some help.
"Sorry puttar ji!!But I am in your mother's side in this matter!!" he patted his son.
Roshni pouts and bids a goodbye to him.
"Wait!! Umm.. Atleast let me drop you guys home!!" he said.
"Abhi toh you were saying that the cars will drop us and jaise hi Roshni is coming with us you will drop us?" teased DD.
"Kya karu Sasumom!! Aapki beti ke saath ek ek pal bitane ke liye mujhe kya kya nahi banna parta!!" he joked.
Kritika's Room
She was crying indefinitely. The only person whom she had ever loved truly never loved her back. He cheated her not once but so many times. She felt ashamed that she married to a guy like him. Maybe she deserved this. She herself had taken advantage of her own mother's love the time she had got to know how rich she was. Maybe this was God's way of punishing her. Flashes of her times spent with RV came to her mind. All the times when he told her that he loved her was a lie; it only meant that he loved her wealth. The wealth which she was also after. She could not even look at herself on the mirror anymore. All the mess she had created in her brother's life, all the misdeeds she did with RV came across her mind. She was a horrible person, which is why God had deprived her of mother's love for 20 years. She took the vase in her hand and threw it on the ground. She fell down on her knees howling loudly. After few minutes, trying to compose herself; she noticed the broken pieces of the vase. She picks one in her hand. She constantly turns it around and remembers all the terrible things that she had done since she entered into the lives of the Khurana's.
In the Car
Siddharth and Roshni were sitting in front side of the car. The entire way to DD's house, Siddharth tried in his own ways to touch her. Roshni escaped all the time.
"Nani Ma, Patel parivaar ki ladkiya kaafi ziddi hai na! Har baat pe gussa unke naak pe hota hai!" he teased.
He got two simultaneous hits, one on his thighs by his love, Roshni and the other on his head by his Sasumom.
"Look at them! Meri buss maar khane ki hi value hai inke life mein.. baat baat pe haath uthati rehti hai aur mereko dhone ke liye tayaar rehte hai! Pichle janam mein aaplog dhobi the kya?" he said playfully and winks at Roshni.
"Siddharth!! Look in the front and drive the car!! We don't want to die!!" yelled DD.
"Oops!! Sorry Sasumom!!" he stuck out his tongue.
Finally they reach DD's apartment. Nani and DD gets out of the car. Roshni turns to open the door when Siddharth takes her hand.
"Kya hua?" asked Roshni.
"Siddharth! Abh kya - "starts DD but Nani interrupts her.
"Chal Durga, let us leave them alone. Roshni 5 minutes mein upar aa jana!" she said.
"Okay, sexy!" she winks at her Nani.
"I don't want you to go." pouts Siddharth.
She pulls his cheeks and says,
"Even I don't want to stay apart anymore.. we have wasted so much of our time already.. and now when everything is fine we have to stay apart because of this remarriage thing!" she says sadly.
"Arre yaar, then why will we live apart? Let's go and talk to Sasumom and then I will talk to Dad. I am sure they will understand!" he said determinedly.
"No.. Siddharth.. they are happy after such a long time and they just want us to be happy na? Think that we are doing this for their happiness.. one last time.. then we will be together forever.." she said dreamily.
"Hmm.. you are right..yeh family ke chakkar mein na hamesha hum dono ki hi waat lagti hai! Kya bhagwan kuch toh acha kia karo kabhi !!" he said looking up.
Roshni smiles and says,"Abh go.. 5 minutes are over!! Nani is very strict." she smirks.
"Aise kaise I will go.. you must have forgotten but I remember.. woh kitchen mein.. we did not complete our talk.. n I will not go before completing that!" he said playfully.
Roshni flushed with his words remembering how she got carried away seeing him.
"Arre!! Why are you embarrassed? Yeh sab toh chalta rehta hai na.. now c'mon don't waste time.. give me a kiss!!" he said and closes his eyes and pouts waiting for her to kiss him. Roshni looks at him and pulls his cheeks again.
"You are so cute.. I love you Siddharth!"
"Not fair, this time I will not leave with just an I love you.. I want more.. warna I am warning you I will stay back at your house only!" he said.
"Acha baba!!" she replied.
She leans forward and kisses him on his cheeks. He looks at her eyes and then her lips which were near his face. Slowly he leaned forward and covered his lips with hers. They break apart from their kiss; she hugs him and instantly gets out of the car.
"I love you meri pagal-firse-hone-wali-biwi" he yelled.
She waved him a goodbye once she reached the door of her building. He waves his hand too. Finally she disappears into the building. His phone rings. It was his mother calling.
"Hey bhagwaaan!! Dono maao ko mere shaadi shuda zindagi se pata nahi kya allergy hai!"
He picks up the phone.
"Hello, Mom! WHAT?? Okay, I am coming right now!!"
