Part 10

Siddharth gets out of the lift. He messes his hair and shirt and sprinkles some alcohol on his shirt. He drinks a sip, and enters his home. He pretends to be drunk and walks in. The whole family was sitting on the table and were about to have breakfast. Everyone gets shocked seeing him in this state. Simran gets upset, and blames Roshni for Sid's condition. Raj stops her and shouts at her for blaming Roshni. Rajveer and Kritika were grinning the entire time and were happy that their plan worked out and they were able to separate Roshni and Siddharth. Siddharth in drunken state says,

"Enough. Now no one will take Roshni's name in this house. Pleasee.." and he walks off to his room.

"How much will my son suffer because of that girl? Look what she has done to him...Whole night he was out getting drunk..How will Sid come out of this depression?" said Simran sadly and walks off to her room.

Roshni was having a gala time with Nani when Yash enters the room.

"Good morning, beautiful. How are you feeling now?" he said and walked towards the bed. He had brought a bouquet of red roses for her and keeps it on the side table. Nani acknowledged Yash and left the room giving them their space to talk.

"Thank you, Yash. I am better." said Roshni in a monotonous tone. It was hard for her to act alright with Yash when she was angry at him for hitting Siddharth.

"What happened? Are you angry?" asked a concerned Yash.

"No...No Yash. I am sorry for being rude. I was thinking about something else." said Roshni.

"Siddharth? Roshni please don't think about him anymore, he was your past. You made a mistake, but it is okay. It's not your fault when you are up against such a manipulative person." said Yash.

"Please let us not talk about him." said Roshni flatly. It was unbearable for her to hear rude things said about her husband when she knew what a gem he was.

The doctor interrupts their conversation and said that it was time for Roshni's plaster to come out. Yash sits in the sofa while the doctor and nurse do their work. The plaster is taken off and the doctor instructs Roshni to walk for a little while everyday and shows some exercises. The nurse helps Roshni to stand up and before she could help Roshni to walk she was called outside by the doctor. She leaves immediately asking Roshni to sit down,but Roshni tries to walk and was about to fall. Yash comes to the rescue and stops her from falling down. Just at that time Siddharth enters the room with some files in hand.

"Wow. What a scene! Divorce hua nahi ki romance abhi se shuru, Mr. Aashique!"

Roshni hurriedly tries to get out of Yash's hold. Yash removes his hands from Roshni's waist but holds her hand to support her.

"I suggest you take your hands off my wife, warna bekaar ka yaha hospital mein ek aur room book karwana parega tumhare naam ka!" said Siddharth calmly and playfully. But Roshni could sense that he was getting irritated, so she tried to change the topic.

"Stop your nonsense and come to the point. Why are you here?"
"I will come to the point baby, but first tell your lover boy to give some privacy to the couple" said Siddharth.

Roshni makes a frustrating face and says, "Yash can you please wait outside, warna yeh aise hi pakkata rehga." Yash nods and leaves.

"Are you mad? What are you doing here Siddharth?" said Roshni and moves forward. She was about to fall but Siddharth holds her. They look into each other's eye. Siddharth removes the hair from her face,

"You look so pretty in this hospital dress too, I feel like to kidnap you and take you away from all of this mess." he said.

"Really? First let me get better so that I can run along with you." said Roshni. Siddharth gets conscious of her condition and gently puts her in bed. He then caresses her ankle,

"Is it hurting?" he asked innocently feeling bad that his Roshni was in pain.

"A little, but it will get better soon." Roshni replied with an assuring smile. Siddharth kisses her ankle.

"See it's already better now" she said.

"Why have you come here, Siddharth if someone sees us like this then.." started Roshni.

"No one will come baby, My Pushpa is outside she will take care of it." winked Siddharth. Roshni relaxed, "Thank God you came, i can't tell you i was so irritated with Yash.. I wanted to scold him so badly for punching you but instead i had to be sweet to him."

"Really? It looked like you were enjoying his company.. and you have no idea how irritated i am to see him touch you like this when i know he wants to marry you and sees you more than a friend " said Siddharth frustrated.

"Tell me Roshni have you ever been friends with someone who is sensible? All your friends are just like you, Dumb!" he said to tease her.

"Ya right...that is why my husband is also dumb.." she replied. Siddharth smiles and sits beside her. He opens the file and gives it to her.

"What is this?" she asked.

"Here are some photos of the people, captured in CCTV camera, who entered the building that day; I want you to identify which one of them came to our apartment." said Siddharth. She looks at the pictures and immediately identifies the man. "This one" she says.

"Okay baby, now you should rest. I'll give this man the punishment he deserves."

"Siddharth, what are you going to do?" asked Roshni anxiously. She was scared that he would get into trouble.

"I'll just interrogate him Roshni and find out who made him do all this. Once he takes Rajveer's name we can take this case to the police." said Siddharth calmly to pacify her.

"I don't feel good about this. Why can't you wait till I get better? Then I can help you too. Please Siddharth I can't even move, how will I know that you are safe?" she panicked.

"Arre baba, Relax Roshni! Nothing will happen. Don't you trust me? I am not stupid. If you help me then I will be tensed about you the entire time. Atleast when you are here I will know that you are safe.."

"But.." started Roshni. Siddharth smiled looking at her. He remembered the moments when Roshni wanted to help him financially. He admired her more, whenever she wanted to help him sort out the problems. In moments like these he realizes that Roshni was much more matured than him. Without thinking twice, she would be ready to face the problem along with him.

"Acha, so you want to be at par with me?" asked Siddharth. Roshni sensed a feeling of Deja vu seeing him say this and she knew he would ask her to kiss him. But before Siddharth could even say what he wanted, Roshni pulled him by his collar towards her and kissed him on his lips. Siddharth was surprised by her sudden behavior but he did not stop her, after all this is what he wanted.

"You know what baby, I think you should be sick more often, it brings out the flirtatious side of you and I am just loving it" he winked at her and grinned like a boy.
