After silently finishing their breakfast, Nachiket said, "can we go for a walk? I want to take you to this place I often visited when I was in college". "Hmm? You visited Delhi when in college", ragini asked surprised, that she didn't know this fact about Nachiket until now. " yeah I never mentioned before.. I used to attend a regular scout camp in the woods near by.. I stopped after I joined med school. Would you like to go with me?", Nachiket sounded nervous like a college boy asking his girlfriend on his first date. ragini could not refuse.. They drove for about half hour , Nachiket talking about his scout camps and experiences he had.. Both of them completely avoiding the issue that was constantly bothering them. They reached the woods, and started walking.. Ragini clinging on to Nachiket arm as she walked. she was holding him tight, as if the woods were to take him away... They walked in silence for a while, not knowing where to start, Nachiket wanted to say so many things, but his words remained unspoken, he wasn't sure what would make her trust him again. He had committed too many mistakes lately and apologized way too many times.. He didn't want make it worst by apologizing again.
" I know Sameer was lying", ragini said out of the blue, breaking the silence, looking at him.. Still walking hand in hand.. Nachiket turned to her surprised, he definitely didn't see it coming.. " he knows me well, for he wanted to make it easier for me by taking the blame..but unfortunately I know you and understand you way too well, to know how you would have handled such a situation" Nachiket was dumbfounded as Ragini continued.. " we were on a trip then, and you didn't want to hinder the enjoyment of the kids, or my happiness by bringing this up. You feared that, if you told me I wouldn't be able to enjoy freely.." She paused.. Nachiket wanted to nod, but he didn't.. He kept staring at the path they were walking on.. " but that still doesn't justify you not sharing with me" she said rather softly, almost choking on the last word.. This time demanding an answer..
