The woman returns after a minute and looks at Ragini intently
'BTW, you are beautiful too. And I get the positive vibes from you, hence my advice. Look for somebody else.'
Ragini's surprised eyes followed the woman's back who now made her way to the reception; she then turned back to her husband, who continued packing heat on the treadmill. 'So cheesy' she thought as she grinned and opened the door of the gym.
A hush descended as she took a few steps inside. She realised belatedly that this section of the gym was for men, and more than that, she was still dressed in a saree. She had not bothered to change before rushing over here to meet Nachiket.
Ragini was mortified. She turned away hastily and decided to wait for Nachiket outside.
As she retraced her steps, she suddenly felt a hand closing on her wrist, pulling her back. A second later, she was safely nestled in her husband's arms, his heartbeat thundering beneath her ears.
The hush descended once again as Nachiket pressed his lips on top of her head. Somebody coughed stealthily somewhere and they broke apart.
'Sorry' Nachiket grinned. 'My wife, guys. We will go. Enjoy.'
He waved at the others apologetically and pulled Ragini back to himself, his arm now wrapped protectively around her waist.
As she glared back at him, he started laughing.
