Nachiket looked at ragini smiling "its only two hours aagham" "please mum i am hungry" "you are always hungry" both aagham and ragini glared at him "you can stop glaring aagham only ur mum has that right" aagham laughed and ragini went pink and hit him on his leg.

"We will stop aagham ok" aagham smiled at his dad in truimph. "I will ring ranbir and let them know" she was about to phone them when her phone pinged it was a msg from nachiket. She opened it and it was a picture of her taken a couple of hours ago and under it said "my everything" she msged back "not the pic i want"

He smiled reading it. She rung the others to tell them they wete stopping.

The sun had set an hour back and neither Nachiket nor Ragini wanted to stay on road for long.

"Just grab some refreshments, Aagham. We'll have dinner at the resort," Nachiket told Aagham and called Ranbir to know their location. Ragini went with Aagham to the supermarket store of the Pertrol pump and by the time both of them were out of the store, the other two cars had joined them. Ragini quickly divided the refreshments and asked Suhani to join them in the car.

The kids had kept the chatter on while their chips lasted and were asleep next moment. Nachiket looked at them from the rear view mirror and a smile crept on his face. He fished out his phone from the pocket and started taking a picture.

"Kya kar rahe ho?," Ragini whispered, not wanting to disturb the kids.

He clicked the picture and turned the phone to show her. He had clicked sleeping Aagham's picture.

"See, kaise mooh kholke so raha h," Nachiket pointed to Aagham's open mouth and laughed.

"He is tired," Ragini took the phone from his hand and looked at the photo adoringly. She gave the phone back to him, "By the way, you also sleep like this when you are tired. So, don't try to blackmail my son with this photo,"

Just as she handed over the phone back to him, she managed to see a thumbnail of a photograph that completely took her by surprise. She snatched the phone from him and swiped back to view the other photos in the gallery..

Kya kar rahi ho, Ragini?

Shh.. what on Earth is..

She stopped at a photograph and looked at it for what seemed like ages.. and she was just stunned. He looked at her in concern and saw her eyes turning a little moist as her voice dropped to a whisper..

Ye tumhe kaise..

He gently took the phone back from her and looked at the photograph from their first anniversary. She had her hand on his heart as they both cuddled together in front of a backdrop of the hills, somewhere in Gulberg.

He smiled in return.

Ragini leaned back on her seat and he turned to sit straight and looked out of the window. Both of them were overcome with emotions. Suhani clutched Ragini's arm and fidgeted a little in her sleep. Ragini moved so that Suhani could keep her head in her lap. Ragini was patting her head when the memories of their first anniversary came rushing back to her mind. She was 2 months pregnant with Ranbir at that time and Nachiket had altogether refused to go anywhere. She had begged him to take her to Gulmerg and he had agreed only when she had made him sleep on the couch for a week. Ragini was smiling remembering the day when her phone buzzed, alerting of a new message.

'Are you also thinking of the way you welcomed me on bed after a week on couch?'

She replied eagerly, teasing him -

'No.. this album.. how?'

'I had gone to dadaji's house.. our house.. a couple of days back. Just wanted to check on a few things.' - his voice trailed away and he went silent all of a sudden.

After a few moments of complete silence in the car, he gave the phone back to her - it had a different old photo this time.

'I had the album scanned. I cannot afford to lose this'

She was grateful that they had reached the resort.. she kept his phone with him, giving him a beautiful smile as they walked to have dinner with everyone.
