It was early afternoon nachiket was in his cabin doing paperwork he had a operation for later on his head was starting to hurt he called his PA in "can you get me some asprin please i have run out" she went to go out "just make sure my wife does not see u" he did not want to worry her his PA went out. His phone rang rang he looked at the caller id it was nivi calling he answered it.

Ragini was talking to devika when she heard "do you have any asprin for Dr Khanna" she turned around to see his PA stood there sonu saw her "why does he need asprin" "i don't know" ragini took the asprin and went to his cabin he just finished his call with nivi. He got up "hey darling" she handed him the asprin "woh actually" "you have a headache" he pulled her into his arms "you know that doctor was wrong its work i need to stay away from not you ragini" she smiled and broke the hug and gave him water and the asprin "take these and go home and rest" "i can't i have a operation booked it only slightly hurting i will be fine" she went to go when he pulled her back "ragini we need to talk tonight" she loooked at him he was serious "what about nachiket" "nivi rang me she" his PA came in "sir your patient is ready" he nodded.

"Nachiket what about" "ragini tonight when we are back from the drive" "ok i am going home early with ranbir don't be late" he kissed her "i will be on time" she kissed him "i am fine darling see you later" he went out. What did nivi want now?

After dinner when they went for the drive, Ranbir suggested they go the bakery he had found last week with Tanya. Despite the fact that all of them had their stomachs full with dinner, they agreed to check out the bakery on his insistence. It was a new place and the interiors were very tasteful. Nachiket loved the place and soon started conversing with the Manager on its designing. Everyone ordered their pastries and other desserts from the menu. The dessert was to die for. And Ragini felt the sugar rush in her body when she took the second bite of her dessert. It was delicious!

When Nachiket came back and took a bite from his plate, the first words out of his mouth were: "We should come here every week".

The ride back home was full of laughter as they made plans for their next trip to the bakery.

It was close to midnight, when Ragini asked Nachiket about the thing that he wanted to talk about.

Nachiket was sat on the sofa taking his medicine when ragini came and sat next to him "is your headache better" "yes its is" "what did nivi want" he looked at her and sighed "nachiket" "she said ronnie is coming to india in two days and wants to meet suhanni" "why" "he says he wants a relationship with his daugther" "suhanni is our daugther not his" "i know ragini but" "but what" "he has more rights he is her biological father" she held his hand "no one has more rights on suhanni then you not even me you have been there for suhanni from day one" he sighed ragini rested her head on his shoulder "what we going to do" "we will have to talk to suhanni about it" "we will talk to her together in the morning" ragini got up to get changed they went to sleep.

Ragini woke up nachiket was not there she looked at the time it was 3am in the morning she got up put her gown and went out he was sat on the sofa looking at some pictures "nachiket" he looked at her "i couldn't sleep" she sat next to him and sngguled upto him he took her in a hug "what were you looking at" he showed her the pictures they were baby pictures of suhanni "nachiket don't worry no one is taking our daugther from us" "ragini i think they are planning something and using suhanni to get it" she looked at him "like what" "i don't know" "look we will talk to suhanni and what ever she says we will do but don't worry nachiket" "if she wants to meet him" "then she can meet him suhanni is senisble she know who her mum and dad is" he sighed "come back to bed nachiket" she got up and he followed her they went to sleep nachiket was holding ragini he was thinking why did ronnie want to meet suhanni now him and nivi must be upto something.

Next morning, Nachiket was not in the best of his mood, He was more cranky and irritated than sad. Ragini: Chai laoon?

Nachiket: Roz toh is time pe deti ho.. aaj kyun pooch rahi ho? Laake, de nahi sakti? Pata nahi hai tumhe mai is time pe chai peeta hoon

Ragini turned around shocked at his response. "Nachiket tum itne tension me kyon ho? maine kahan na we will solve the problem, relax". Nachiket sighs, "Ragini, problems to my family, especially from Nivedita is the last thing I want. I cant stand that female, she gets on my nerve. When she called, I didnt want to answer her, but she wouldnt stop. After all that she has done to us, I dont want to talk to her".

Ragini: Nachiket, she seems to have changed now after getting married. Forget the past now. Also, tell me one thing, you never got affected my any girl, how come she is affecting you so much?

Nachiket: Ragini, what ever it is, I want to stay away from her.

Just then, Nachiket's phone rang and Nivedita's name flashed. Nachiket looked at Ragini, showing her the phone.. "baat karo and be Nice", she said in a whisper. "Nahi hoga mujhse", he said irritated. he then made a puppy face, asking her to talk, "No Nachiket!", was her instant reply. He picked up the phone, threw it in Ragini's hands, then uttering, "Please Ragini..", he quickly ran to the bathroom, closing the door behind him. Ragini could not believe what he just did. She had no option, but to answer. Nivedita, was not expecting Ragini, she just asked for Nachiket and after finding out that he was in the bathroom, she said she would call later and disconnected.

After a while, Nachiket stepped out of the bathroom, "So Ms Relax - we will solve the problem, did you solve the problem?", he said in a taunting tone, pretty sure that nothing would have happened in the little time.

"Yes", Ragini answered, not paying attention to him.

"Haan?", Nachiket was surprised.

"Yes, I said yes, but I have some bad news for you and you alone, I am really sorry dear, I could not be all nice, for what you did to me before you timidly ran to the bathroom".

"I didnt run timidly.. ok! what did you do?"

"Nothing much. We are going to Dr Aman and Nivedita's for dinner tonight. Ronnie is also going to be there."

"What!! Ragini you cant be serious.. No way, I dont want that guy to meet Suhani"

"Nachiket, one thing I have learnt very well from my past, is sitting and discussing solves a lot of issues, and earlier we do this the better"

"But Ragini.."

"Nachiket, trust me this is the best thing for us and Suhani."

Nachiket thought for a while and came to agree with Ragini..

N:"But Suhani?"

"I spoke to her, before planning the dinner. She was shocked initially, I have tried my best to make her understand, I think she will be prepared to handle the situation, if not we will be there to support her. Also she wanted her siblings to come along.. so we are all going"

Nachiket nodds, "Ragini, Nivedita bhi hogi vahan pe?"

"Of course!"

"I didnt want to hear her voice and now you want me to meet with her?"

"Thats the bad news for you.. how sad!, never ever throw the phone on your wife to answer!!", chuckling, she walked away.

They were back from the hospital and getting ready for the dinner ragini had noticed nachiket had been really quiet all day he did not eat much at lunch just enough so he could take his tablets. She had been messing with him this morning but now she was worried about him. She was getting ready when he came out of the bathroom he did not speak he sat on the sofa putting his shoes on ragini went and sat next to him "nachiket" "yes" "this is the best way really " "i don't want suhanni meeting him" "we are there for suhanni she is not alone" he looked at her "i guess you are right" she smiled at him "i am always right" when there was a knock on the door ragini opened it "suhanni"

She came in "whats wrong beta" "mum do we have to go to this dinner" ragini smiled "you are just like your dad" nachiket looked at ragini "he does not want to go aswell but this is the best way and suhanni we are all with you ok so don't worry" suhanni smiled "shall we go" nachiket got up and grabbed his jacket suhanni went out "nachiket your pills" "leave them ragini i will have them when we come back" they went out.

They reached nivis place for dinner the kids got out and so did ragini nachiket followed her he held her hand she squeezed it "its just one dinner be nice" "i will try but we are having dinner with three people i hate the most" "so just look at me then" nachiket smiled "that was my plan" he kissed her cheek "mum dad hurry up please" aagham said "your son is hungry again" she poked him in the ribs "ouch ragini" "leave my son alone" nachiket smiled. They knocked on the door.

They were now driving home, with Suhani hugging on tight to Ragini. It had been quite an emotional evening for her and she prayed she would never have to face such a situation again. She had sobbed in Ragini's arms for the past 20 mins, since their drive home had begun. The rest of the siblings seemed annoyed and not happy with the dinner at all. But they were glad, they were there for their dear sister. None of them spoke. Nachiket also had been driving in silence..

After constant consolation from Ragini, Suhani seemed to have calmed down. She now closed her eyes and rested her head in Ragini's lap. Ragini sighed.

Nachiket kept stealing glances at her through the rear view mirror. He looked at her in admiration and adoration, for she had handled the entire situation with expertise and averted the worst. She had stood strong as a pillar for Suhani and had cleverly evaded vulnerable situations.

Nachiket had stayed silent for most part of the dinner, for he felt very uncomfortable and didnt want to worsen the situation by acting on impulse. Only thing he had achieved was successfully avoiding Nivedita's annoying antics. He had spoken just once, to clearly state the he was Suhani's father and would go any extent to support her decision. At the end, Ragini had sternly stated that Ronnie never return in Suhani's life, for Suhani wished to never see him again. Nachiket, was very grateful to her tonight, for completely eliminating Ronnie from their lives. He glanced at her again, as she now ran her fingers through Suhani's hair and smiled a small smile looking at her sad yet relieved face. Nachiket's eyes gleamed at the sight of her smile, the smile of victory and his adoration intensified.

They reached home, Ragini walked Suhani to her room and tucked her in. She heard, "Thank you, Thank you mom", in a light whisper, as she moved to kiss her sweetest daughter's forehead. It was a very tense, yet satisfying day and her daughter had successfully endured it all. She then left for her room.

Nachiket had changed and was seated on the bed, waiting for her, in their room. Ragini walked in, and looked into his eyes. There was a sense of gratitude in them, along with a desire to express. She stood frozen, looking into his eyes, which steadily changed from gratitude to admiration to adoration to lust and his words from the previous evening came rushing back to her..

"I love your body. I am attracted to you... I crave your touch..."

"I want to kiss you all the time. I want to do it so badly I can barely think of anything else. When you enter a room it's my only thought. I can't help it,"

"I have a hard time keeping my hands to myself when I see you. I want to touch you, feel your skin with my hands, hear you say my name, see your blushed face and then I want to kiss you. I want to kiss every inch of your body and then do it again and again and again."

"you are my wife. And I want to make love to my wife because I think she is the most beautiful person in this world and I love her absolutely."

" I am going to kiss you anytime I want. I am going to touch you anytime I want."

She felt an uncontrollable urge to step forward, plunge into his arms.. But there was still a week to go before they could...
