There was still an hour left for them to go home when Nachiket called Ragini to his cabin.
"What happened? Dard ho raha h?" A concerned Ragini rushed to side and placed the back of her hand on his forehead. Nachiket smiled assuringly and took her hands in his. "Nahi. Main theek hu. Tumhara kaam ho gaya?"
"Kyu?" Ragini asked.
"I wanted to know if you can leave with me right now?" He asked.
"I have a call that I can take care of in the car," she said, "Tum theek ho na, Nachiket?" Her eyes searched his face for any pain for discomfort. He looked fine to her.
"Haan main theek hu. I'll see you near the car in 10 minutes,"
Ragini's call took longer than expected. They were trying to hire the best doctors for their hospital and she was talking to one of the top neurosurgeons of Mumbai. She was so engrossed in the call that she didn't realise when they reached the place. Their place! Fortunately, the call got over at the same time. She hung up the phone and with a wide smile, looked at Nachiket, "I think he is going to say yes,"
"Good job Madam!" he smiled and removed his seat belt.
"I thought we were going home. We've come here after a long time," Ragini said, as she got out of the car. There was a chill in the air and she quickly took out the shawl from her bag. He had come to her side and helped her in wrapping the shawl around her.
"Thank you. I can say chivalry isn't dead yet," Ragini teased him, bringing a smile on his face.
"C'mon. Lets sit there," They walked to the bench on the cliff, facing the sea.
"This is beautiful, Nachiket," It didn't matter how many times Ragini had come here, she was always in awe of the view. They stayed like that for a few minutes, not talking, just admiring the view until Nachiket spoke.
"Ragini, what age are you feeling right now?" Nachiket asked, making Ragini look at him instantly. She hadn't expected such a question from him. Or any discussion on this topic so soon. Then she remembered their morning conversation...
"Nachiket, I didn't mean to hurt you in the morning. I was only saying that.." Ragini said but Nachiket cut her off.
"I know Ragini. Just answer my question. How old are you feeling right now, at this very moment?" He again asked. He was serious. Ragini was quite familiar with this side of her husband. He rarely brought this side out. He wasn't going to stop until he gets his answer.
"I'm sorry darling," Ragini attempted to drop the matter but failed when Nachiket insisted, "Answer my question, Ragini"
"I don't know. I am not thinking about my age right now," Ragini answered.
