Ragini's eyes widened as he held the.box out to her. She took it from him, and opened it, her heart thudding.

Nestled in a simple cream colored silk inside, lay a pair of golden bangles - the design a bit antique, but the bangles radiating elegance.

Nachiket picked the bangles up from their resting place and placed the box aside. He pulled Ragini closer and pushed a part of the pair down his hand. Once done, he admired the bangles on her hand. And her hand with the bangles on them.

'Mom would have been so happy that they are back to their rightful owner' he said, his voice overcome with emotion.

Her eyes glistened with tears at his words. She closed the distance between them and hugged him with all her might.

"I love you Nachiket. More than ever,"
"I love you more, Ragini Khanna" Nachiket kissed her head.

They heard Sunny Tai calling Ragini and they both laughed.
"We both need to go on a holiday," Nachiket suggested.
"I think we do," Ragini smiled.
"Are you serious?" Nachiket couldn't believe his ears. He didn't have to do anything to convince her. Ragini shrugged. "I thought I would have to seduce you into agreeing for holiday" Ragini raised her eyebrow playfully. Nachiket laughed and pulled her back into his arms. Ragini hugged him and then pulled back to go out and help Sunny tai. She was at the door when she looked back at him and said, "Can't wait to see you tonight in the bedroom Nachiket Khanna,"

Dinner was strictly a family affair. Ragini, with help of Sunny Tai, had whipped up a delicious meal. Nachiket looked around and noticed how excited the kids were to be in the house, sharing the dinner together.

He glanced at Ragini. Her face shone with happiness and contentment, as she served the children, flitting from one side of the table to the other.

'My plate is empty, Ragini' he started, a smile spreading across his face.

'I am not fasting sweet heart'

Ragini flushed a beetroot red at the term of endearment, while the children teetered.

She walked towards him purposely, with a casserole in her hand.

Nachiket knew he was in trouble.

However, she refrained from saying anything. Diligently, she heaped food on his plate, generous portions of all the items. Nachiket stared at her with an open mouth.

'How am I supposed to eat so much ? ' he asked.

She looked up at him triumphantly, from her seat beside him

'Well you were hungry. Anyway, all you have to do after this is sleep.'

Nachiket stared down at his plate, his mind translating the things happening.

He looked up and started,

'But Ragini ...'

Only to be cut short by her as she continued,

'And yes Nachiket, no dessert for you.'

She looked up and smiled sweetly at him

"Mom! We have decided. We don't want to sleep tonight," Aagham announced enthusiastically.
"Kyu? Kya karoge poori raat?" Ragini asked.
"Pata nahi. But we don't want to end this day so soon." Aagham replied.
"Lets watch a movie!" Suhani suggested.
"We can also play cards." Aarav said.
"Dad aap bhi mat sona aaj. Watch a movie with us," Aagham told Nachiket. Ragini tried to control her laughter but failed. She covered it up with cough.
"No. I have to sleep." Nachiket said, emphasizing on the word sleep.
"I'll join you guys.." Ragini couldn't complete her sentence as Nachiket kept his hand on her thigh. Her skin burned at his touch, the layer of clothes seemed non-existent. She closed her eyes as a shiver ran through her whole body and she felt the need to grip something.
"Mom, are you all right?" Ranbir asked, concerned lacing his voice.
"Yeah.. I am fine. I just said I'll join you guys.." Again she stopped mid-sentence as Nachiket's hand travelled up her thigh, "I'll join you guys for some time. I'm tired and need some sleep."
Nachiket removed his hand and Ragini swear she saw him smirking.
'You are going to pay for this, Nachiket!' Ragini promised herself.
