Ragini held his shoulder gently and moved him to the side as she pulled out a shopping bag with a gorgeous sky blue kurta. His eyes widened in surprise.

When did you get the time to go out and..

And she stopped him in his tracks by gently resting a finger on his lips..

She pressed the bag against his chest and his hands came up to take it from her, without breaking eye contact. She smiled, taking her finger away from his delicate lips and turned to walk away from him. He grabbed her wrist and she blushed.

"Apne aap ke liye kuch layi bhi ho, ya...?"

She turned to look at him, one eyebrow raised slightly. "You'll just have to wait and see, Mr. Khanna."

He tightened his grasp on her wrist and pulled her closer, causing her hand to fall roughly against his chest. "Mujhe abhi dekhni hai." "Now, Ragini," he whispered into her lips, his hot breath tantalizing on her already warm cheeks.

"Nachiket, chodo mujhe," she managed to get out half-heartedly, her eyes closing as her wrist squirmed in his grasp.

"No. I want to know now." he breathed, his lips nearly touching her cheek as he blew a strand of hair from her face.

Ragini opened her eyes and looked at him, her deliciously gorgeous husband. She twisted her hand and yanked down hard, leaving him holding only her golden bangle. She stepped away from him before he could grab her again and strutted to the bathroom. "I said no, Nachiket!" Ragini said, laughing. "Surprises take patience," she added, turning to wink at him before closing the door to the bathroom behind her.

As the door to the bathroom closed, a plan formed into Nachiket's mind. He locked the bedroom door from inside and then stood outside the bathroom door, ready to barge in.

Ragini opened the door and in the next moment, found herself pressed against the bathroom door, with Nachiket's one hand on her mouth and the other holding her arm up. She raised her eyebrows and Nachiket laughed in response.

He removed his hand from her mouth and replaced it with his lips, not kissing, just grazing. Ragini was getting impatient. When he didn't kiss her for few more moments, she pushed him hard.

"What?" She was annoyed. If he wasn't going to kiss her, why was he here?

She looked at him annoyed "let me go nachiket" he didn't say anything and moved closer to her and kissed her she wrapped her arms around his neck he moved his hands down her back stopping on her waist he then broke the kiss and looked at her with that glint in his eye. She knew that look "no nachiket we have to go to nishi's "i will be quick i promise she shook her head and broke free "you will have to wait for tonight" she kissed him and pushed him out of the bathroom and ahut the door. She leaned against the door that had taken all her control to say no to him. He stood on the other side and smiled a plan forming in his mind

''What what?'' Nachiket asked innocently. ''Tum yahan kyun aaye ho?'' Ragini hissed annoyed.

''Kyun? Mein yahan nahin aa sakta kya? Yeh mera bhi bathroom hoon.'' He replied as a matter of fact. ''Haan toh...'' She was getting irritated now. ''Toh mujhe bhi bathroom use karna hai.''

Ragini rolled her eyes. Nachiket saw her annoyed and irritated expression. ''Kya hua tujhe? Upset ho?'' He asked her. ''Nahin nothing.'' She looked to the other side. ''Tum apna kaam karo, mein bahar intezaar karoongi.'' She turned around to leave but her held her by the arm and pushed her against the door. ''Kuch toh hai Ragini...batao.'' He asked her. ''Nahin kuch nahin.'' She was still hiding her gaze from his because he could always read her eyes. He took one step closer, his right arm still holding her and the other one leaning against the door. Ragini became aware of the closeness and started to move a bit nervously. Her nervousness made him smile.

''Tum itne nervous kyun ho rahe ho?'' With that he took one step closer. ''Mm..mm.mein, nahin toh.'' She tried not to let him know but failed miserably. He made her turn her face and saw her flushed cheeks. ''Relax Ragini.'' He trailed his fingers down her arm. ''This is not the first time...'' His arm went around her waist, pulling her closer and leaving almost no distance between them.

He brought his face closer; caressing his cheek against her. The friction of stubble was doing something to her which she hadn't felt in the longest time. ''Nachiket...'' She let a small moan. His lips where near her ear now and blew in it ever so lightly. She held on to his shoulder for support. Slowly he let go of her waist and pulled himself back. Her eyes were closed but opened them as soon as she noticed his movement. They looked at each other and he started to speak. ''Mera kaam ho gaya.'' Confusion was written on her face. ''Matlab?''

''Kya tum abhi bhi naraz ho?'' He asked her carefully. ''Huh? Nahin...haan, kya?'' She was not getting it. No she wasn't upset anymore but this didn't made it easier either. He chuckled at her confusion. ''Toh phir mission completed. Just wanted to check if you are okay or not and you seem almost...perfectly fine.'' He looked at her from top to bottom. It hit her slowly and she started to fume in anger and frustration. Nachiket had to get out from her before he would be bruised up.

''Accha toh mein chalta hoon.'' And he opened the door to leave. ''Urgh!'' Ragini could not believe what just happened. How does he do it every time.

There was a knock on the bathroom door. ''Kya hai?!'' Her voice was loud and irritated again.

Nachiket opened the door and peeped his head inside. ''Ek aur baat... this is our first Diwali in so many year. Matlab yeh ke I can't afford to spend Diwali with an upset Mrs. Khanna. So please keep a smile on your face.'' He said playfully and winked at her.

Ragini got the kiss out of him before he left for Nishi's house. And told him in clear words to never ever tease her again. Nachiket had just smirked. Nachiket went to Nishi's place with Ranbir and Aarav. Ragini decided to stay back and prepare for the evening Pooja. Suhani and Aagham were busy in making Rangoli and decorating the house.
Nachiket came back at around 3 pm and both Nachiket and Ragini decided to finally reveal the surprise to their kids. Since Nachiket had gone to US for a few days, Ragini had been mysteriously absent from home and the kids knew she wasn't going to the hospital. When they had asked her, she had smiled and said it was a surprise.

"Okay, everyone! It's time to reveal the surprise. Get done with whatever you are doing in next 5 minutes. We're leaving," Nachiket smiled at everyone's confused faces.
Ragini had packed everyone's clothes. She had arranged everything else there already. After 18 years, they'll be celebrating Diwali at their home. The place where she had spent the four years of her married life. Nachiket had proposed the idea of moving back to their home and Ragini had been ecstatic. She got the painting and cleaning done and last night when Nachiket and Ragini visited the place, their home was ready to welcome them back.

The kids ran into the huge house, all set to choose their rooms. Ragini did not believe Nachiket when he had once told her that his house had 10 rooms and the house had often overwhelmed her when she had entered as a coy bride. But now, things seemed to be falling into place. She waited patiently at the door as Nachiket helped super nani enter the house - her eyes gleamed at him and then at the vision of the house - she was no stranger to this house - Nachiket would often bring her here for months at end. Nani's frail fingers wrapped around Nachiket's strong hands warmed her heart and Ragini leaned against the door, just watching her family being welcomed by the beautiful house.

It had been some time when she was interrupted by a small peck on her neck. She let her body fall backwards, knowing she would find the same warm embrace, which she did.

Kya soch rahi ho?, he asked in his deliciously husky voice..

Ragini wished they could talk forever..
