Ragini helped Nachiket help Nishi, if that sort of makes sense. Nachiket wanted to help Jignesh get out of debt because Jignesh (and his family) blames Nishi for their business loss. But since Nachiket himself is bankrupt, Ragini knows that Nachiket is not in a position to help Nishi...even though he will still try his hardest to fulfill his promise to Jignesh, especially since Nishi's marital life is on the line. Neither of them want what happened to them to happen to Nishi and Jignesh.
Ragini mortgaged her house in order to keep Nachiket from finding out about his bankruptcy when he tries to transfer funds to Jignesh's creditors. I think that even if Nishi's marriage was not on the line, Ragini would still mortgage her house for Nachiket, to save him from being devastated when he finds out about his bankruptcy. The fact that she mentions to Pam that she is doing all of this for Nishi is a thinly veiled attempt at hiding the fact that she still cares about Nachiket and his emotions... 😳
