Shikha,
I really enjoyed N's apology, finally owning up to how he steered Aarav in the wrong direction and taking on the joint responsibility to set him straight. But the other piece to this is R's reaction - is she so convinced of her sole responsibility in this mess that N's words do little to reassure her?Not that I blame her - this is something he will have to demonstrate through actions as well as words. But I can very easily see her so used to shouldering the blame and responsibility that his attempt to offset his guilt is seen as an empty promise.Sorry if that wasn't your intention. 😔I really did enjoy reading though 😃

Nidhi, first of all I'm so sorry that you had to read this after the depressing episode tonight! 😔Honestly, this piece was entirely from Nachiket's POV, him dealing with this guilt and finally getting everything out there and I hadn't thought much about Ragini in this. But, I was considering writing a companion piece from Ragini's POV, based on the reaction to this. I didn't plan her reaction to be one where she takes all the responsibility upon herself (even though that's how Nachiket sees it in this story).I thought of Ragini feeling like she failed as a mother and that all of her efforts to fix her mistakes were going in vain. And she sees Nachiket own up to his actions and accept responsibility and she leaves, not in indifference but just upset. She's upset that he feels this way and somehow blames herself for creating this guilt in him, or maybe for creating the situation that makes him feel guilty like this. And she's also saddened by the sudden realization that she never apologized at length to Aarav; she may not actually be wrong, but she realizes that she is the one that needs to take that first step so that Aarav can start to trust her again.I hope that sort of made some sense...I haven't thought about it at length yet. But thanks for reading and enjoying it! 😊

Don't ever apologize for that, it is a joy to read your work always 😳Thank you for your insight into R's thought process. I would love to see a companion piece to this from her POV. These two are unfortunately so far gone that they can no longer communicate properly or understand what the other must be feeling. They both certainly have a lot of apologizing to do, to their family as well each other. This was a fantastic look at how N should be owning up to his share of mistakes. Thanks Shikha 🤗

🤗This was so good..When you reveal that the reason he was so upset and so jittery was he wanted to put it out there... that he was reponsible, and he was sorry.. aww that was so beautiful! <3If only Nachiket did this.. you wrote it so well dear!Understand R's reaction too.. she does not know how to react to that..but it means just so much to him!

That's really sweet of you dear! 😳 As for the companion piece, this came out of a bad mood I was in last night. So Ragini's piece might take some time. 😊🤗
