Ok, now let me see... 😳 I'm not going to pick out specific lines, because then I would end up quoting the entire story. I just loved the way each paragraph tackled a different issue that she was facing, another turmoil running through her mind. And the last line always sums up her issues and forces her to come to terms with them--I really enjoyed that structure.

And although each paragraph was almost a mini story of its own, you still managed to keep the flow of the whole OS going and the addressing of each of her problems flowed smoothly into the next. And it was all tied together by her pain and that pretty little song (which I hadn't heard before, so thanks for that)! 😊

You can guess this by now, but I LOVED the last paragraph! Every single word! It was just perfect: if she can cuddle him in her sleep, he can kiss her in his. Even if they can't entirely be together during the day, the actions of their subconscious minds at night prove that they were never separated. They have that same love, affection, and care for each other that they did how many ever years ago.

I lied, I'm picking out a line 😳:

For many years she was thinking with her head, but it was time now to live with her heart; she was still too much in love with this man and his kiss told her, this time, it will be worth it...

This just left me ...thank you so much for writing this and letting us read this beautiful piece! You are a darling! 🤗 🤗 🤗 ❤️
