Neil very well knows that Ragini tends to overreact at times, but that does't mean that he should walk out on his kid. For him to say that he is committed to 3 of his kids is extremely rude as a father. He went to India, supported Nishi's decision to get married, supported Arav into opening a business, told him to go hide at an old house when there is gangsters looking for him; he basically ruined "Ragini's" kids' lives and now is committed to three of his. He can be divorced, but no matter what his ex tells him, he has the right and the duty to be responsible for all his kids, especially when he is the cause of their spiralling down life.
For goodness sake, their kid is in juvenile detention; they all are acting like he is away at summer camp. Ragini will get married when he is back. Neil doesn't even care bc he only has 3 kids. Is it really that easy?
Neil should have been able to overlook Ragini's hatred and still stay involved in Arav's life; Arav is going to need more help when he is out.

Agree with you completely. Utter non-sense that he completely disowns his own son! He was the one who brought about miseries on Aarav by supporting his business venture... Then how can he disown! He should clear up the mess he has done. Otherwise Aarav's case is a lost case... He will end up being a criminal...

Of course, N is a failed Dad alright. But Ragini's engagement has shifted the entire arc from his failure as the Father of 2 more kids, kids lives he messed with and concveniently choosing to forget.
Had he ben somewhat of a dad before, Aarav may not have been been in a juvenile delinquent centre. I am not blaming N outirght. But as a Father, he really did need to be around the kid to ensure that he tries to fidn soem way out.

This sworries me. Everytime somethign happens, he is gonna run to US and leave this part of his estranged family behind. And Ragini, being the temperamental person that she is, will keep on reacting and falling down.

When N himself does not do anything when he has a troubled son in his own house, how can we expect him to help aarav?
.
Ranbir is more to be blamed than aarav, yet if N thinks ranbir has not done anything wrong, then he might be thinking aarav is just a minor.
.
(ranbir hit and run case, bringing gun to india - legally or illegally we don't know and neither did N confront him about gun. Ranbir just said in passing he has licence for the gun but that in USA, surely not for bringing to india. same gun he pulled out but again N should have questioned why he had gun with him at that time)

I agree as i also felt the same. What happened was of course bitter and Aarav is in the juvenile centre. Leave aside what Ragini said but i found it shocking that Neil could say that Aarav and Nishi is not his kids and why should he care. Seriously this is turning like a game whereby they own and disown their kids over arguments. I bet Ragini would also be saying the same. In a nutshell, both failed as parents.
