Misunderstandings and divorce

I like the fact that NeiRa's divorce was a result of their own misunderstandings and that the misunderstandings were a result of their own assumptions and judgements. I think the idea is quite different from typical Ekta and Indian shows and i feel more real and relatable. The same old formula of a very negative villain separating the lead pair would have just been too ordinary. I quite liked it that Neil and Ragini have been shown as normal human beings who make mistakes. This is how it should be unlike how it is in most of the shows where lead characters are always saints.
Another thing i liked is Suhaani not being Neil's biological child unlike how it happens in typical Ekta shows.

I do agree though that they should have come up with more substantial issues between NeiRa apart from this Rupali one. Misunderstandings based on solely this issue is a very weak reason for as huge a step as divorce. Nevertheless this serial is indeed different and i think its doing great.

Agree with you to certain extent. I am also glad that they didn't show Suhaani as Nachiket's illegitimate child. That would have been so run-of-the-mill types.
The Show and story has a lot of potential, but the way it is being handled is deplorable.
I sincerely hope that the Channel steps in and takes an active interest in the content and quality of scenes shown, and ensure that the tracks suit the theme of a mature love story.

It's almost criminal to waste such talent powerhouses, as I feel the casting is totally bang on except for 1 or 2 characters.

Let's hope that the Show does well now.

Thank god... There is at least someone who thinks out of the box and agreed with the reason of divorce to be reliable. I totally agree with u that that CVs take this different step as a reason for divorce otherwise it will be repeated and expected as usually seen in the serials for decade. The best thing wat I liked abt the show is that every character is of grey shade whether its the lead or villain. Best of luck iknmp ... U r going gud...
U r changing the trend of the Indian serials.

I agree. I feel they faultered big time by having these 2 ridiculous tracks; the fake marriage and Neil's engagment with Nivedita .This just so doesnt go with the mature theme part. I really hope now that these stupid tracks are reaching their climax the story will focus on the actual plot which was about how a divorced couple comes together for the sake of their grownup children.

And you are spot on about the casting.

agree to a certain extent, that it was out of the box, that there is no typical villain involved in the separation.
the only issue is that they overplayed on the 15 year separation due to a simple issue with no family or friends trying to patch them up. That kind of takes away the realism.

And as you have rightly said, if they had added up elements to how the MU played out, maybe it would be have been better to accept.
