Did you Notice that Rupali today told that she is Rupali Basu and hence Nivedita will be also Nivedita Basu and our creative head is also Nivedita Basu...what a irony...for the rest you can understand the name blah!🤣

its not the first time though.
Few other shows of ekta had character names the same as other people from crew.
Like in Kayamath the lead was named Prachi Shan which was actualy the name of anotger actress in the same show.
Even in kasauti zindagi kay Anurag's sister was named Nivedita Basu and at that time also nivedita basu was the creative head.

Even the name "Anurag basu" was the name of his team member, now he is famous n made beautifull movie like "barfi"
