They could have cut the scene between Pam and Niv and atleast shown Dimpy Karan coming and sitting to do Kanyadan, showing the silent convo between Pam and Niv was not that important.

Yes, they should've showed dimpy karan doing kanyadaan, it was much important.

It was actually a blunder.
Either they could've edited out the whole kanyadaan speech by ragini.
