Well, coming to the show. I've always refrained from watching any Ekta Kapoor show Ekta's shows makes us fall for the leads, hoping to see them fall in love, get married and have kids and it usually leads to disappointment where something happens before the wedding with either one of them getting married to another person and after 100 hurdles on their way, finally they get united. IKNMP is on reverse track where we are seeing the lives of Neil and Ragini post all their happy moments and 15 years after their separation. So this was an interesting take especially when it also deals with their children on how are they coping with this separation of their parents.
And one quote i liked was 'Husband and Wife can separate but not parents' . So this is what brought both Neil and Ragini back together. Despite both being bitter initially, we are now seeing them more comfortable with each another. Both don't realize but they still miss each another. Neil still can't see Ragini crying and they both CARE for each another even today. And its also the clash of ego between both of them. Ragini is faking to Neil about her relationship with Aman because Neil disturbed her ego that no one can live with her. And Neil is jealous to see Aman with Ragini and can't accept that Ragini had moved on with her live.
And to make Ragini jealous or just to make himself feel better, Neil proposes to Niveditha for marriage. Niveditha seems to have a different agenda all together. There seems to be a mystery between Niveditha, Suhaani, Pam and RK. Something related to this may be the reason of Neil and Ragini's separation. And as per the flashbacks in the guest house, Pam seems to be fine with Ragini. So what caused this extreme hatred for Ragini?
Regarding the kids, good to see Agam, Nishi and Aarav's bonding. Ranbir is still blinded with Pam's poison against Ragini and her kids. Hope he opens the blindfold soon. And Pam is seriously annoying and i really hope that one day while she is shouting on the top of her voice, Neil just ask her to mind her own business and this is his personal. Yes, she is a sister but there is a limit till where she can interfere or not.
At the moment, i'm liking the casts and the storyline. I just hope the story is not ruined down the lane or should i say, enjoy the show while its interesting as despite not wanting to get attached to the show, i've lost the battle and thats the reason i've opened this topic here đ
