After fifteen years of separation and differences she drives him up the wall. He always seems to be catching her with Dr Aman. And today specially she gleefully edged closer to him to show Nichiket as if saying -- I am here at a spot called --Can't catch me -- Well Nichiket has a severe look on his face, keenly observes his ex- wife, and then pays attention to Nivedita to retaliate Ragini. Whatever Ragini does she does with a grain of genuineness about it -- Dr Aman is a good friend and a sincere man whereas Nivedita's is manipulative and their connection does not have even an ounce of sincerity .Nochiket had the look that if he had his way he would want to station himself wherever Ragini is .Ragini does not admit the impact of his presence , but resents him pairing with Nivedita -- is she just plain jealous or thinks she is not a good companion for Nichiket.
As for Nichiket he chokes when he is suggested to kiss the person's hand who made the wonderful dish.Ragini is much more composed. Nichiket is really suffering and Dr Aman doesn't make it easier for him.Quite a situation.Their discomfort is proving to be good entertainment for the viewers-- nicely presented discomfort-- viewers finding it rather comfortable. Ragini is managing rather well. Nichiket on the other hand, looks a gone case in most of his expressions, though he manages not to succumb and an innate sense of dignity and die hard ego come to his rescue and bail him out of situations which are playing havoc with his feelings.
His personal reaction to Ragini's presence is unexpected for him too.
