this marriage is doomed from the word go...the guy is a kid and so is the girl and then the conservative and narrow minded family...nishi is highly immature ...and instead of fixing her marriage...she needs to be made aware about the pit she is walking into...

the thing is even the grandmother is a humble spectator with absolutely no word in whatever is happening..besides she stands and watches her daughter getting humiliated by everyone ..how does a mother stand and see her daughter suffer ??

The only thing that she tried doing is to set up her daughter with her friend, when it's so apparent that she is still in love with her ex.

ragini mother is definitely a useless character. i am not sure why they need her at all in the story she does nothing to discipline the children and is no real emotional support to her daughter. she is waste of screen space. sunny tai has more contribution to the story. they could have killed off ragini parents and made ragini really alone or her mother could have been the sick one someone with alzheimer or bed ridden. ragini doesn't need anyone and that would have made her struggle as single mother even more sad and made nachiket really appreciate her. he took off to lala land america leaving behind his wife and kids no matter how angry he was at her he never bothered to check how she was doing it would make him more guilty that if he really loved her he should have checked up on her. it could have also worked into his jealousy of aman married or not, aman was there for ragini when it should have been neil who should have cared for her the one she could depend upon.

actually considering how much he still loves her i find it hard to believe he never looked back even once. i hope there is some flashback of him wanting to contact her i mean was he never worried how ragini was supporting herself financially if she was ok knowing proud she is she would never have come to him for help. i mean ragini married him very young so he must have known that she was not as educated as he was so she won't be making money in buckets so what was she doing.

I think the conduit was Karan in this case, to certain extent. In last Thursday's episode, he did tell Karan that though Karan met Ragini once, he kept on telling Nachiket 10 times about the same.
But I think it's just an honourable mention, with no real vale added information or news involved.

But this aspect does puzzle me, given the fact that Nachiket is almost portrayed as the one who is more attached.

Of course Nachiket is more involved.. I didn't get you're point.. He just said baat ek baar hoti hai dus baar batata hai.. do karan us the friend who constantly reminds him of every small thing that happened..

I meant maybe he got news from Karan about Ragini, but it really feels that he does not know much though.

Maybe that's his self defence tactics

Ok. Maybe Ragini asked Karan as well about Nachiket.

And both swore him to Hell to keep his mouth shut 😆
