Very well said, But the kids are like this now a days. Money is everything for everyone. I am so disappointed with Nishi as she stayed with her mom all the time she knows how much she is struggling but don't know what she is thinking... May be she try to reunite Ragini and Neil ...by doing this...

Very well written. I completely agree...Nishi and Aarav have been way too ungrateful towards their mother. They should really stay with Nachiket for sometime to realise the importance of Ragini. Agam and Suhaani are the best!

I agree with you the CVs were going back to Nanand-Bhabhi saas bahu kitchen politics, but today I thought they really redeemed themselves. it was a very realistic portrayal of today's youngsters. we are all putting ourselves in Ragini's place and feeling sorry for ourselves and her, but she was responsible for this herself. She decrees, she never explains, he prefers to avoid rather than know the truth - these are very real characters.

The kids except for Agham and Suhani are the millennials - who are a narcissistic generation - it is always all about them. Dimpy and Karan very loyal friends, Pam an elitist sister who cares for her brother's kids - although her values are flawed - how many of us know people like that- rejecting the Bhabhi cause she did not attend expensive schools, or is not as stylish!

I agree they did not handle Nivedita;s character very well! Why was she always trying to make Ragini jealous - when she believed Ragini moved on. I can understand she was insecure of her relationship with Neil and therefore she painted a wrong pciture of Ragini - that part was real! If they had shown that she knew Ragini was single or that she was the cause of the divorce, then I see the logic in her trying to make Ragini jealous, But otherwise an accomplished, attractive woman like her, would not consider Ragini competition at all. so yes that part was unrealistic. But today I though the characters part were very realistic!

It has been several weeks since I watched an episode.

Your points have encouraged me to give it a go. Looks like cvs might just be redeeming themselves.

I have to say, that kids from single parents, esp when they have seen their mother struggle to raise them... Such kids tend to be more mature and responsible... And protective of their mothers... They have their rebellious moments, am not discounting it.

Certain things I just don't get... The lack of warmth Pam has for the other kids... The way the parents yell at their kids when they want to meet the other parent or sibling... The birthday episode was terrible.

Ragini chose herself our her long lost son... It just does not sink in. What mother places her fears over her child's mental and emotional wellbeing.

Which child insults or belittles her parent in front of strangers. Yes rebellion exists... Children rebel, behind closed doors... In the privacy of their home...

Another thing that has put me off is the lack of research... Or bloopers...

Nivi is a character I don't understand... She has not been in contact for several years... And then suddenly she is slithering about...

Take the scene between neil and ragini... They wanted a confrontation, where neil would threaten her... Birthday episode.

Hello which courts pass judgement at midnight... When ni I mentioned how his kids need a mum... Hello does neil not realise that Pam has been a mother to them... Too many of these silly plots and dialogues to move the story along.

Well, Nivedita is no competition to Ragini actually. It's not your degrees or your money or youth that makes you worthy or whatever.

If Nivedita has really loved Neil, I would have understood. She is here to take revenge and acts like a pretty unscrupulous lawyer, for whatever she's worth.

There's a reason why Nachiket still loves Ragini, even if they are tearing each other apart.

Yes looking from outside since both characters are portrayed as they are it is obvious that Ragini's character is a supreme human when compared to Nivedita - no doubt! explains why he still loves her. She is a stright forward - call it as I see it - person with values who is conservative but attractive too.

But what was portrayed - Nivedita does not know that Ragini is still single, she is supposedly married to a rich and good looking doctor who worships the ground she walks on, in that case, why try to make Ragini jealous - no logic here! Also from all Neil knows Nivedita has saved herself for him, she said so on their first date. It did not matter to her that Neil is still holding the torch for Ragini!

But comparing 2 characters outwardly - one is an educated, young, single, rich, attractive lawyer , the other is a not sure what she studied, middle aged, single, middle class(trying to make ends meet), attractive but not supper stylish, mom of 2 kids. The portrayal of Nevidita being jealous of Ragini does not make sense! If anything Nivedita would act uppity and dismiss Ragini as an opponent would not you?

from your sound counter arguments... I wish you had written the story😆

The scene I referred to was a conversation over the telephone. Nivi had some lawyer call her at midnight so that she could inform Neil on the dangers of not having a spouse... from what I understood of the dialogue, the lawyer called to inform her of the verdict that just came out. The case that brought her to India. The mother won custody of the kids. Thus leading to Neil threatening Ragini who in turn broke the fragile bond with her son on his birthday.
