So true. In India no matter what women don't divorce that easily.At least fifteen yearas back. If they did there would be solid reason. Like cheating or unlivable situation and stuff like that.
Here it remains a mystery why Neil Ragini divorced. Neil keeps calling her proud and dominating.
Neil is insensitive. If he did not want to marry again why did he leave Ragini in the first place. They could have lived together for the sake of the kids.
First of all why were they so irresponsible as to have four kids? Agreed the third one was a pair of twins. fine.
Then on top of everything look at the disparity in their lifestyles. It is not I am Punjabi you are Gujarati thing. You can be anybody but there should be some meeting point common area for the couple. Neil is a doc and Ragini nothing when they married. and then they go on having kids four kids in seven years. and then they fight over something and divide the kids. Knowing Ragini does not have enough means to give an upbringing just like Neil does how did she divide all the kids fifty fifty ? Isn't that unfair on the kids? why didn't any elder say this to Neil Ragini to face?
Here there is a nagging dominating sis-in-law Pam. Pam is verbally abusive to Ragini even after they are divorced. And then Ragini still is meek in front of Pam. Ragini only gives Neil an earful all the time.
Elders just look on. They are there do they not advice Neil/Ragini that their way is wrong?
And the kids Oh don't even talk about them. Neesi all the time shouts at her mom for standing in the way of her happiness.
Aarav does nothing other than chasing girls.
Ranbir is abusive physically and verbally. Physically abuses Agham and verbally his own mother. No matter how bad one's own mother is one does not abuse their mother the way Ranbir does.
Ranbir what does he do in life? don't tell me he is a doc? He is not even twenty.
Neesi is willing to give up her studies for darling "Jignes" and Aarav all the time is after a motorbike and neighbourhood girl .

And then they say the "divorce" is Ragini's "punishment" But Ragini does not look like she has done something that "deserves" punishment.
Such "mysteries" don't even make sense.
