Ragini arrives at the party and asks Dimpy about Aarav. She further asks about Nivedita and Dimpy directs her towards the kitchen. Neil enters the kitchen and Nivedita begins her drama to lure him. Some amount of flour gets stuck on her forehead and Neil begins to wipe it. Ragini arrives right then and seeks their pardon for interrupting at a wrong moment. Nivedita stops her by saying that she has misunderstood the situation. Ragini disregards her words and utters that misunderstanding can't take place multiple times. Neil utters that there's no use of passing an explanation to her and asks what she's doing here. Ragini replies that she's here for Aarav. There's a conflict between them concerning the 'Sanskar' they gave their kids. Ragini angrily questions the relation between Neil and Nivedita. The latter pretends to weep, runs away and wears an evil smirk. Neil expresses his dissatisfaction on her words and tells Ragini that she has an old habit of deriving conclusion without even being aware of anything. Ragini utters that he made her stoop low in front of Aagam and now he only forgot their deal. Neil utters that he isn't aware of Aarav's presence and tells Ragini to handle her kids. Ragini boldly claims that someone must have invited Aarav and her kids are least interested in his riches. Just then, Aagam arrives and hugs Ragini. He thanks her for being present and making his birthday perfect. Ragini expresses her amazement as he waited for her despite of getting insulted to which Aagam emotionally says that he loves bearing her scolding and can never hate her even if she does so. He'll return to her every time she pushes him out. Aagam further tells her that he's envy of Aarav as he staves for her scolding unlike the former. Saying so, Aagam leaves to bring some cake.
Ragini lectures Neil by saying that she doesn't have his riches and yet his son came to her because he sees love. Love holds the supreme importance and he can never give love to his kids. She finally utters that his materialistic pleasures can't lure Aarav because she gave better 'Sanskar' to her kids. Scene shifts to an upset Aarav who thinks that he's unfortunate to be Aarav Patel. Ragini comes to him and says that this world of show-off isn't meant for him and asks him to return home. Aarav refuses to go. Ragini spots the bike and is stunned to hear from Aarav that his brother and Dad gifted it to him. Aarav goes on to express his extreme displeasure on Ragini's upbringing and the lack of materialistic pleasures in his life. He harshly utters that he's ashamed of his cloths and house and pines for branded products. He concludes by saying that he doesn't need her and moves away, leaving his heartbroken mother to weep alone.
Neil comes there clapping and sarcastically praises Aarav's performance. He utters that her claims got thrashed by her son's words. She claims of a non-existent love while only her ego, conditions and restriction exists both in her life and home. Neil continues and utters that her new husband is least bothered about the kids and she failed both as a mother and a wife. She's just an egoistic woman. Ragini accepts his words and her defeat. Neil feels bad for his words seeing her tears and utters that he can't see her cry. Flashback: A baby is getting an injection and Ragini is crying. Neil consoles her and utters that he can't see her cry and they hug. Back to present, Neil pleads her to stop weeping. Ragini tells him that she isn't affected by his words but due to the fact that her son no longer desires to be with her. Saying so, she leaves and Neil just sits there helplessly. Ragini walks and recalls how little Aarav desired nothing but his mother. Neil thinks that Aarav spoke way too roughly but Ragini could have scolded him, why she wept! He calls Aman to report the matter to him and utters that Aarav was right but spoke in an unrighteous approach and Ragini couldn't handle it. Even he uttered a few unfavorable words. Neil further tells Aman that Ragini has gone towards the MG road and won't even get a taxi there. Aman replies that he's going to handle her. Neil thinks that he has no relation with Ragini and yet some feelings exist for her.
