Actually, she might be in her first/second year of med school because Aman did mention that the school/college/uni she goes to costs her mother a lot so perhaps she's already studying but might not become a doctor cos she might get pregger or get dumped by Jignesh or he dies.

No, it's a speculation... It's unlikely she'll become a doctor if she has to handle her in laws and her house and look after Jignesh. Somethings gonna happen to Jignish and Nishi''s relationship and she's not going to become what her mother wants her to become..
