I am with Zoya di, he is damn complicated and makes it difficult for others to understand anything.

Because La was never there for him, he was using her in my eyes to get to Khushi and that is exactly what smacked him when he said to La "Main Jaan bhooj kar Kuch nahin karta Khushi"

He was saying that to Khushi, and then he realized what he was doing to La.

He wanted to hear the answer, wanted to know does she feel the same way as he does, wanted to make sure before breaking his barriers and the walls of self protection by all kinds of storms of this world especially the storm known as LOVE, the one he could see, feel, and diving into each second after meeting Khushi.

But she was injured, wounded, killed each second by his words, attitude and behavior yet never got to the brink of this stubbornness where she had to stand infront of him and claimed loud enough yes, it doesn't matter what do you do and who cares about your engagement but at the same time she needed time for La. Or for herself.

He got wounded by her words and now there was just one way he could deal with it, by giving her punishment.

His survival mechanism is his anger; he was trying to get her attention, and he got it, but he ruined it, and now he had no idea how to fix it.

The game he started by announcing his engagement just to know khushi's heart wether it stands with him or not being a coward. He couldn't accept his feelings in that weak moment but later he realized his bluf. Now after her engagement declaration he became a beast.

He became the beast as she refused to accept the great ASR's love. It was just ego.

His anger was the wall he loved to have it for further damage to his heart but giving the worst behavior to Khushi always made him hurt the most at the end. A big crack in that wall broke down that wall finally when he felt his heartbeat for Khushi.
