So here goes

I am just shocked. Shashi died in a gruesome manner. It's not easy to get over it. Garima in her place is right to feel bitter about how and why he died. Sometimes even the families get targeted and she having two girls it's not easy as let go. Khushi is like her father she aspired to be like him and that's one of the reasons why she felt for Akash because her idea of an ideal man is her father. Thankfully she didn't voice out about Akash to her mother.
Garima on the other hand wanted a secure future for her girls given the society she comes from where no one stood by them in their hard times except Manohar.
Not going to go into details of Shashi's case.

Imo Khushi is a principled girl she wouldn't accept someone like Arnav even if there was no Akash in the picture. She doesn't like his ways or his association with the likes of Shyam and Viraj. She wasn't the one to lead on the opposite sex. Arnav approached her and kinda literally coerced her into marrying him. He must be really vulnerable and have nothing to look forward to without her. If she really married him only because he wanted to give away his life then she definitely needs time to accept him completely mind body and soul. One can't fault her for still not being sure about having a family with Arnav. Though she pictures him as a father now but she would want him to get over his past before starting afresh and having a family. She knows he loves her a lot and she isn't there yet. She needs to communicate with Arnav about her expectations from him. Wishful thinking about Akash isn't going to be helpful.

Aman concerns regarding Viraj should have warning bells ringing for Arnav but he doesn't seem to know if there is anything they can do. Hope they do something to safeguard Arnav.

Manohar and Priya's conversation threw a light on how Arti was everything Priya wasn't. She still helped him established KAS but Priya didn't even though Akash was involved. Manohar had a duty to care for Arnav. Priya and Akash behave with Arnav like shit given how she pleaded Manohar to come back to them. Manohar tbh don't know yet why he chose to go back just because Arti wasn't. Not at all fair to Arnav. It's about Arti's death for Arnav but the sooner he gets done with this revenge the better it'll be for his own future with Khushi.

Sometimes the best revenge is to walk away and let Karma do it's best.

Commented on the blog.

Whoa !!

That was a brilliant one, Radz. And you say that you cannot write?

Well, your closing line was the icing on the cake. And that's exactly what Arnav did, though now he wants to make sure he delivers a blow to Manohar and Akash.

But true, Priya and Akash dont seem to regard Arnav as human, let alone family. Akash has his opinions engraved in his mind cos of what he has been through. And Priya could never look beyond her hatred.

Btw, your lines on Khushi were the show stealer. She really needs to get her act together and tell him what she wants. But she is waiting for him to change, because love can move mountains.

Good one, Radz

The convo between Khushi and Garima was so enlightening. While Khushi was principled like her father and was meant to be part of a world that was righteous, “satyug”, Garima knew that being principled meant being gobbled up in this dog eat dog world ‘Kalyug.’ She knew that marrying Arnav was the best thing that had happened toKhushi though the latter was not aware of this fully. Khushi still lived in a cocoon wrapped up by the thought of a man that she loved, a principled one at that but in reality, Akash will soon prove himself to be very different from her perception. Arnav words about Akash/Priya behavior with him have opened up a new thought process in Khushi’s mind where she is slowly releasing herself from the shackles of her love for Akash, but the fact that Akash has confessed his feelings for Khushi aren’t making things easier for her. Her candid talk with Garima will go a long way in cementing hers and Arnav’s relationship and by now Khushi has made it clear to herself that she would move on from Akash and try to stabilise her marriage with Arnav though having their child was still a long way to go

Garima,

Finally herPOV is here. Garima comes as a responsible mother. Yes she is selfish, for like many mothers she wants the best for her daughters. Garima has lived her life with righteous Shashi Roy. She doesn’t have an example before here where Good begets Good. Shashi had been a very principled person who had wealth of selflessness and justice in him but did not have anything to show for this. He led a life with less of worldly possessions but more of satisfaction of having done his best for the public by being true to his profession. In light of thisGarima and his daughters had led a life bereft of money and this made Garima cautious while selecting a life partner for her daughters. She unjustly (or practically)felt that Khushi was a better bet to get a rich well settled man who would make the Roys’ lives easier. I feel it was not wrong of Garima to think like this for like every mother she felt that her daughters shouldn’t want for anything.

Garima must have been distraught by the brutal murder of Shashi Roy who had been butchered while he was doing his duty of defending an innocent Girl who was fighting an influential family and the Girl finally had come out of the fight with the rest of the world by her side.

Garima seems to hold Manohar in high regard for the support he had offered his friend Shashi by first letting Shashi grow in his career and later taking Khushi under his wing. The final nail in the coffin was when Manohar offered to bring Khushi as his daughter in law, as Arnav’s wife. Garima has met Priya and knows that Akash supports his mother and Priya does not care for Roys. For Priya Shashi will bethe betrayer as he has supported Manohar when the latter wanted to leave Priya for Aarti.

Whoever has murdered Shashi has left a strong message by murdering him, dumping him into the sewer and chopping off the fingers that would have pointed out at the defendant in the courtroom. Was Shashi very close to unveiling something that Viraj had done and was that why he was murdered? Only time will let us know the truth about Shashi’s murder. It appears that maybe Shashi and Aarti’s murders are connected.

My perception about Garima was that she was selfish but now we understand why is she selfish. She is only a concerned mother who has seen that Principles and honesty are paid back brutally by the world, like in the case of both Aarti and Shashi

Hey !!

That was a very apt take on Garima. She is who she is, because of what has happened in her life. But can we blame her entirely? No.

She is cynical in her own way, but she is real. How many of us look for wealth despite or without happiness ?? Most humans think like her.

And yes, more than Shashi, she holds Manohar in good light.

A beautiful comment after a long while P 👍🏼

Hope everything is well at your end.

Yes posting after a long while.

Yes somehow having wealth over having nothing is some solace for we are not all saints. We have a natural human tendency for having atleast worldly things with us if not peace of mind which is very rare to have.

Things are not good but hope they will be soon enough. Hope you are doing well and party prep is going on very well and on schedule

You are right, its a generation gap, a gap in the notions and ideologies. And unwittingly, its Khushi is selfless while Garima is selfish. But its tough to say whose right n whose not.

Because at the end of the day, what is wrong for one, mayn't be wrong for the other.

Love alone, or money alone, cant bring happiness. Its a lil bit of everything that needs to be there.

Yes. here perception plays a part. You had Shashi who was principled and was saddled by Garima who wasnt , you have Khushi who is principled and Arnav who isnt much at the moment, you have Manohar who is principled and Priya who isnt and so on.

Selflessness that makes others trample upon you is also not healthy. we saw this with Khushi in the Show

Dont worry, Arhi will end up together

Certainly, and thank you for wiping my fear clear out! Phew.

Like I said, Khushi's selflessness only made her a scapegoat and wasnt appreciated by many.
