Let me talk about Garima first.
I sympathise with Garima. Her husband was brutally murdered, and she was left alone to deal with two young children, their education and running the house. I think most of the woman in her position will think the way she thought.
But, what surprises me is, she is teaching Khushi to forget the past and move on, when she herself still resents her dead husband and holds him responsible for the hardships she had to go through or she is going through.
Garima wanted to marry her children to rich people.
Is money the only solution to every problem we face in the life? I don’t think so. I think Garima will find out soon.
The best example is, in spite of having all the money in the world and after having a two kids with Manohar, Priya still lost her husband to Aarti.
Cheers……
Hey
That was a very well balanced comment on Garima. She is hurt and yet, unforgiving.
She aint perfect but she is real

Now time to talk about Priya:
It looks like Priya wanted a trophy husband and her father a future CEO. Manohar only wanted to make it big in his profession. Their relationship lacked the basic understanding and affection. So, Manohar after trying his best, left Priya to marry Aarti. After Aarti died, it was Priya who begged him to return to her. Priya’s father’s death and a young Payal have forced Manohar to come back. He was not planning to abandon Arnav, but, I think without his knowledge, Arnav was made to leave their house. May be Manohar was falsely informed that Arnav is into drugs and he himself left the house.
Cheers…….
Life would always bestow us with what we should have, rather than what we need.
And something like that happened to Manohar. He isnt innocent, but he clearly aint the culprit
Good one, Raji

I did not realise Arnav actually supports Viraj. His simple theory is they both are having Papa issues. How gullible?
So, Arnav not only joined PSP but, Aman and Arnav pumped their own money into the party. Obviously, Aman saw it as a business venture, and probably encouraged Arnav to invest money into it.
His concern is still confusing, and I still can’t digest his disrespect for Khushi.
Whether it is rival newspaper or supporting newspaper, Khushi’s name was dragged into news. Can Arnav remain nonchalant or will he do something about it?
Finally we found out, Arnav had to play so many tricks to marry Khushi. We were introduced to the depth of his love. It is indeed hard for him to let go Khushi. What makes Arnav to let go Khushi is still a mystery.
Cheers……
Raji
Arnav is not nonchalant, he is just not too begrudging. You see, he has seen the media up, close and personal, since his mom married Manohar. And he knows its an everyday affair for them to yap.
Plus, there is always a positive balancing news to the negative ones. Why pay heed to barking dogs.
There are bigger elephants in the room, waiting to be addressed

Coming to the quote.
I put my money on, they are Arnav's thoughts.
Arnav Loved and loves Khushi and he has shown how far he can go to get Khushi as his wife. But, he will soon realise, Khushi did not reciprocate the same love neither in words nor in actions. So, when he let go of her, he thinks he was that withered fragmented flower, but Khushi still keeps him between the pages of her diary.
Cheers......
Beautiful one.
I am not gonna say that the quote applies to any one in particular, but yes, your understanding is perfect.
I think it has something to do with the title of each topics. Something repeats in all the titles. e.g. the alphabet "W", or each chapter represents value from a set i.e. colors of a rainbow, day of week, months of a day, etc. I know...too abstract. But just a thought 😊
Hey N di , what's the matter ? I have been trying from the past 3 hours to post my comments on ch 15 of WITHERED but it didn't get posted ? Is there any reason for that ?
Garima is coming across a little too materialistic. Of course money is very important, but an honest living is just as important. Wanting rich men for her daughters is being too shortsighted.
Your quote is scaring me now! Longing is definitely part of this story. But, will it have a happy ending? Considering you've highlighted it towards the end.
Cheers
