Yeah, she, Manohar, even Anjali and some new characters, will play important roles in the story.

ANJALI:

Firstly what surprised me is Anjali’s behaviour here – She is being actually sweet and nice to Arnav and understanding sibling to Khushi!

Anjali sees true care and love in Arnav’s eyes and reciprocates the same, there is no pretence on both sides!

I see Anjali is actually matured than her age and more understanding in the matters of hearts UNLIKE KHUSHI!

I expected Anjali’s character to be either – she will be (1) in a self-pity mode feeling guilty for all the suffering her family undergo because of her or (2) very straight-forward, rude and blunt.

But man, she literally stumped me with her maturity and understanding!!

Anjali just not only understands Khushi’s predicament in accepting Arnav but also matured enough to advice Khushi in giving a much-needed/ well-deserved CHANCE to Arnav before jumping into conclusions.

The reason I say Anjali is matured – She believes the Arnav she sees and not the masked Arnav what he portrays himself to be for others! unlike Garima

Yes, Anjali is not in the self pity mode, but she does feel the remorse for her family. And she knows that Arnav loves Khushi

KHUSHI:

The problem with Khushi is she is not letting Arnav see her, know her and understand her (though she is justifiable with the first impression, second impression about Arnav and her rejection to Arnav’s proposal but now that Khushi has entered into a relationship with him – where it’s a 50-50)

Khushi who is not fully into the relationship, she holds back a little fearing the happening of the inevitable (breaking of wedlock), she thinks she is securing the heart from breaking apart but little does she know she is not letting her heart have the love right under her nose!

She clearly sees Arnav with the mask he created for the sake of Manohar, when she see the real Arnav – the vulnerable, kind hearted man who yearns for love and care, its going to be a well deserved guilt-ride and wish she wakes up before it too late!

Khushi is indirectly pictures Arnav in the place of Akash – Akash is good, respectful, warm and honest basically all that not Arnav but not all that glitters are Gold – Akash could also be pretending as Arnav and the intention behind the act is important than the commission of act – She admits she only admired him afar so she would have felt the warm feeling with him but just assumed that Akash would have made her feel warm,safe and secure!

KHUSHI IS PURE JUDGMENTAL ABOUT ARNAV AND THEIR RELATIONSHIP

GARIMA:

Though she seems to be tough, I see her behaviour is just being a typical mother – My mother loves my bickering about love, marriages, philosophy in life but when it comes to serious talks, she feels my understanding and approach is just cinematic and not practical!

Garima with all the bitter experience in life and just being a protective mother to her daughters.

I’m seeing Garima as a disappointed wife and protective mother – She wouldn’t have thought about sacrificing Khushi for the sake of Anjali or for herself, she is just being a mother like anyother – Not all have the luxury to place their principles above her needs, people who follow principles seriously are put to test often and many fall out owing to their needs but only few succeed the test like Shashi – So Garima advice is absolutely right advising Khushi to look for a understanding partner rather than person who makes your heart flutters (Fictional does that to us right) But we knew in reality what is real?!

There are many people who will make one’s heart flutters – silly crushes, infatuations, first love, so-called love, ofcourse fictional character(s) and imposter BUT only the people who actually cares, will think about you, your needs above theirs.

I’m giving Garima, the benefit of doubt as a mother because a mother is a mother at the end of the day, who can never think of any bad for their kids and as a wife, she is disappointed, frustrated one at present.

On the other side, Garima says “No Love and Beauty can save marriages and people, its only money and understanding that counts” – Love and Understanding is about marriages but what about Beauty and Money? Does she hint only about infatuation or something more ?!

I do find Garima being extra sweet to Arnav – which is not as genuine as Anjali! Anjali talks to Khushi for the real Arnav but Garima talks to Khushi for the masked Arnav!

MANOHAR:

He was married to Priya and had Akash, left them behind and came to Aarti who had Arnav and left them again to be back to Priya and Akash and then Payal happened! – I hope this is the gist of Manohar’s wives and children!

On a serious note, Manohar might had a loveless marriage with Priya or a forced one and found love with Aarti?! But circumstances separated/ forced to separate Manohar and Aarti and then Aarti died leaving behind Arnav in Manohar’s custody!

Manohar might have been justifying falling in love with Aarti after his marriage with Priya but going back to Priya and I assume he was not there with Aarti during her last days shows he had a strong reasons to do that, either he believed (1) Something or someone over Aarti or (2) Purely forced for separation without any option!

Though he is with Priya now and Akash takes after him, Manohar dearly loved/loves Aarti and loves Arnav over his other kids – But he is guilty of his past acts and that’s why he is not able to confide the truth to Arnav!

AKASH:

Is Akash being a ideal son of Manohar one of the reasons for Arnav to do all possible things that will embarass Manohar? Does Akash know something Arnav does not, that Akash stands by Manohar and Arnav above Manohar?

MONEY and Legacy have played major roles in Arnav’s life – What Akash always had and Arnav was denied of!

WAS IT A WAR FOR LEGACY?!

If Akash is with Manohar then he is against Arnav – I guess he was/is definitely happy with Arnav’s intrusion in his family and Arnav’s behaviour now!

PRIYA:

All I see Priya has played a great role (dark role) and if i may add, playing.. She who destroyed Manohar, Arnav, Payal lives and if I may add Akash life or afterall for Akash?!!

Lastly:

My understanding is its Arnav who made Khushi’s heart flutters (not in a good way according to her) and its Akash who made her feel warm (not really but by his actions, she assumes he would have made her feel warm ). If yes, then Garima advise would be go for Akash and not Arnav?!

@bold- very well worded statements. Garima has a purpose to love Arnav and Anjali does it without any selfish interest.

What I didn't expect is Khushi having a liking for akash. She did feel something when she met Arnav in the lift and then again when he injured his hand. However Arnav's impression on her wasn't that positive.

She seems to have taken by her father and hence the values and ethics are important to her and hence her liking for Akash.

Garima pushed her into a marriage with Arnav for obvious reasons. She sounds bitter because of the tough times they have been through and still are in. Khushi is defensive of her father obviously. Life just doesn't give choices at times. Khushi is resentful because she had to marry Arnav as she had no choice.

Anjali is younger but she is mature and understanding. She is the bridge between Khushi and her mom who seems at kind of loggerheads with regards to Arnav. The girls miss their father. My heart goes out to these two girls because their fathers death has not only left them with debt but also brought a distance between their mother and them. They miss the warmth and protection that a father gives and a mother who makes up for it in his absence. Garima is kind of cold and closed as a person.

Arnav may be well bonded with her and may have taken her on his side which makes Khushi even more angry about the whole situation she is in.

Arnav seems totally reckless when it comes to doing something in life. He is hurting for not having his mom or dad with him when he needed them. Manohar loves him but what kind of love is that where you compensate someone with money but not affections because your ex wife takes you back.

He seems like Shashi from WA who went back to his old wife but didn't bring Arnav to stay with him the only difference being he seems to love Arnav even though he isn't his real son. So not as bad as Shashi but spineless nevertheless.

Arnav here is so different showing off a carefree mask when deep down he is hiding a lot of pain. He is on self destruction mode. Everyone knows Shyam is bad news so why is Arnav persisting with him.

Khushi has very low opinion on Arnav. The first time he spoke about his mom. She'll get to know him more if she tried. He has no one to guide him protect him so he is directionless but he is capable of love and care so not a lost cause. Hope he mends his ways because if anyone can make him want to change it has to be Khushi.

That’s why her mother Garima advised her we should be practical in life unlike her father whose good nature and qualities could not save them from the huge financial crisis.

So it’s clear it was due to Garima’s insistence kushi agreed for the marriage. Garima’s character is still under wraps so we don’t if it was greed for money or keeping in mind kushi’s welfare she pushed her for the marriage. .only time will tell .

Arnav is in love with kushi and loves her family. kushi reminds him of his mother And his ready to share his inner secrets also.

He is not what he portrays to the world he must be a valid reason to behave rude to his step father . I feel kushi should try to understand him and change his behavior and attitude towards life and it is she only who can do it .
