Yes, at least something worked for me 🤣..

It was not a holiday dear, I am in Singapore for a project but I am going to make a holiday out of it too heheheh...

I again tried to post the part yesterday without any success. Maybe I should send the chapter to one of you so, you guys can try from your end and see if it succeeds. Please let me know anybody wants to volunteer ❤️🤗

Chapter 40

All the fog cleared in her head revealing, one of the most painful day she had faced in her life.

Rain, lightening, and thunderstorm

Crazy Lavanya.

Her cries for help.

Her fear for baby’s life.

But what rocked her world the most was recalling each and every hateful syllable that had come out of Arnav’s mouth, accusing her, insulting her all over again.

His insulting accusations were seared like a red -hot iron in her heart.

Angry tears erupted in her eyes and she started sobbing. That’s how Arnav found her few minutes later when he came to Temple to check upon her.

With concern, he ran to her and asked worriedly. “Khushi, is it Mamaji? Did you hear anything?”

Khushi shrugged off his hand that was holding hers and wiped her tears. She wanted her vision to be clear when she said that. “I can’t stay here.”

Arnav was so upset seeing her in such distraught condition that he didn’t even register her words at first. All he wanted was to take her in his arms and comfort her. But she again repeated and this time more clearly. “I can’t stay here. I want to go home.”

“Home?” Dumbfounded he repeated after her and murmured softly. “But you are home.”

This time it was Arnav’s turn to be shocked. Shocked, when she rejected his touch as his hand came out to grab hers in reassurance. She simply said. “No, this is your home. I want to go to mine.” in a wobbly yet furious tone and got up on her feet to leave the premises.

Khushi refused to have a verbal battle with him in the Temple and destroy peace of the place. And verbal battle she was going to have with him, she could just feel that coming as her temper rose remembering all his accusations from other day. How dare he accused her of infidelities, that too in her condition. What type of woman he thinks she was that pregnant with his child, she would be sleeping around? Oh! His angry words again rang loud and clear in her head, making her to clench her fist in rage.
