Shashi and Arnav- Shashi was Arnav's mentor and yet he despises him. Is it because Arnav is the son of his employee? Or is it due to the fact that Arnav knows about his unethical dealings? Or is it that he can not digest a fact that an employees son can not be his equal.

The rising sun is welcome, as long as it doesnt blind us.

In any case that statement at dinner table to seek his help was surely to rile up Arnav's ego. If he wanted to help him really he could have said that in private and not in front of whole family.

This sasur damaad relation definitely is out of sync. Yet both his daughters fell for him. What a luck of shashi😆

I like how you describe Shashi, very apt.

We also got a glimpse of dysfunctional family. The family who does not have love as the centre of the relation. Only grand mother is the saviour. She has it in her to see through the facade of both Arnav and Khushi. I am glad that her worldly experience is with Khushi and that Khushi with all her ebbs listen to her. She will play a big role in Arshis life going forward.

Lavanya in this update is grey. Now I am doubting myself as to what I think of her.

Most characters in my stories are grey, cos we humans are flawed. There is no fun writing about goody two shoes, or extremely dark characters. So yes, La is human.

Arnav took the cup as usual. He gave back to shashi about his responsibility. I was rooting for him right then. I actually liked it when he said that in front of Khushi. He can go far to any extent to have her reaction and attention. Now he has her attention. Khushi thinking about him in positive way is a huge step moving forward.

Aman- he is a mystery. Why does everone not feel good about him? Is he really grey or is it just his way to protect his loved ones?

Its a mix of both.

As I said before this is such a pivotal chapter.👏

What will lead to body on body teaser? Will await next chapter.

PS- Aubergines well is that a common name of eggplant in European countries? I mean even our Italian restaurants call it eggplants.
